Prince Edward died of tuberculosis which devastated and infuriated the Seymour family. There one success's was dead!
In April 1550 Mary's husband died and Katherine became the Duchess. Mary didn't know how much longer she could take the heartbreak. George Boleyn died in 1552 leaving his son as the Duke of Whiltshire.
August 1553
Elizabeth gave birth to her second child. Her first was Prince Christian and her second was Princess Anne.
September 1553
Mary's regency finally came to an end and George's bride was sent to England. England wanted their king married soon.
