beep. beep. beep. beep.

the heart moniter continuously said as calum listened. he could have turned the TV on but, he didn't want to. all he wanted to do was listen to michael.

the doctors had come in and out of the room, checking on michael and just give calum a glance. they knew he wouldn't leave even if visiting times were over.

beep.

beep.

beep.

beep.

michaels heart rate slowed down but then raised back up. calum looked down at him seeing michaels eyes twitch. "m-michael?"

moving his hands up to michaels face, calum smiled a bit. he was waking up. 'come on, mikey,' calum thought, 'wake up.'

beeeeeeeeeeeeep.

"no, no, no, no mikey, please no." calum cried and squeezed michaels hand tighter. the doctors rushed in and pushed calum out once again. calum wouldn't stop crying, who could? michaels mum sat in the waiting room, calum could see the tears running down her face. 'how could she be crying that hard once she had already left him for more than half of michaels life?' calum thought.

"calum hood?"

calum turned around and looked at the doctor, ignoring michaels mother who had rushed over.

"yeah?" calum answered.

"i would like to inform you that michael...."
