I turn around at the sound of Cans deep voice. He's standing in the doorway, his arms folded, wearing his workout clothes and a cheeky grin.
Well, nearly all his workout clothes.
DENIZ is in my arms.
"Can? I'm busy with the babies. You'll just have to wait your turn."
He prowls towards me, taking Deniz from me. He kisses him and puts him over his shoulder.
"But I'm a man in great need!"
He leans into me doing the same. Kisses my bare shoulder, moving along into my neck. His baggy t-shirt is so big on me that it lies low across my chest.
"WHAT do you need, my love?"
"Mmmm... So many things going through my mind, but at this precise moment, my clothes..." He tugs at his t-shirt.
"but most importantly, my red and white sports socks."
He points down to my feet. "You keep wearing them and I've got no clean ones left."
I do indeed have on his long white workout socks with the red stripes around the top. "Oh, your socks."
"WHAT did you think I meant?" "I, err, I didn't know what you wanted me to take off." "Perhaps I'll show you later, but for now, just the socks. I'm meeting Umut at the Gym."
I sit in my feeding armchair and raise my leg. Rolling the first sock down and off, I throw it at him. He catches it and puts his finger up to stop me. He carefully lowers Deniz into his cot then comes towards me, kneeling down in front of me. He grips the top of the second one and I watch his fingers roll it down and off. He holds my foot in his warm hands and brings it up to his lips. Then he runs his hand up my calf.
"My feet will get cold now." "I promise to warm them up later."

I'm shopping with Mum and Dad.
"I need to get Can some more sports socks." "Socks first and then something for Valentines Day?" Mum is looking at me, smiling.
"Valentines Day?" I haven't even thought about it. The triplets take up all my time. I count out the days. It's on Wednesday!
"Socks is not very romantic though Sanem."
"I like socks, very practical." Dad smiles at me.
WHAT do you get the man who has everything? I have no ideas at all.
"Can will like anything you give him, because it's from you. He doesn't need expensive gifts. Look how he loved that scrapbook." My Dad always speaks the truth.
He leans down to check on the girls in their pushchair. Mum has Deniz.
"Can you babysit on Wednesday?" " We'd love to."
The sports socks were easy to find. I pick up a few packs. Some long and some short. I look along the other sock racks for anything that catches my eye.
