She was a sailor,
Enthralled by the sea,
A beauty to captivating,
And likeness so free. She had love-
For the calm of the blue,
She'd float forever,
But she couldn't, she knew. With wind in her hair,
And salt on her face,
She'd known it then-
That she'd found her place. But the ocean grew angry,
And calmed turn to waves,
It had started to storm,
Dumped in cold, wet embrace. She'd thought she'd drown,
Would it ever end?
The sea, it would kill her,
No longer her friend. He was her ocean,
With beauty unmatched,
A bad man who killed her,
And left her, unscathed.
