after the last night with richie, eddie was living a normal life as usual.

well, no. he thought he was. until this morning he stepped into class and found a box of orange juice on his desk.

"this is.."

richie was the only person who would take care of eddie like this. why would richie still be taking care of him even when eddie wasn't using sleeping delivery anymore?

it was difficult to define his relationship with richie.

it wasn't a delivery agent and customer relationship, but he couldn't call it a close friendship.

richies voice rang in his head again.

"idiot. you have no sense."

eddies not his customer anymore, but why is he taking care of him still? it made everything more complicated.

especially eddies feelings.

when eddie was holding on to the orange juice and marie biscuits many things came across his mind.

"bet you didn't have breakfast, right?"

a memory...

"eat this."

marie biscuits...

"i bought this for you. don't let others take it from you."

these memories that passed through eddies mind. when he was a kid, he used to be given marie biscuits and juice by another boy. a short haired, bug eyed, fat boy.

eddie tried to recall the face, but it was at that time that he would have to visit the hospital instead of school, and he had lost most of his memories.

eddies heart raced. if he was right..

he looked quietly down at the marie biscuits, at the orange juice.

'should i go to the gym after class today?'

eddies mind was almost as knotted as his stomach. what would he say? what we he do? when he met him in the basketball court.

eddie decided to act first, he didn't want to think on it anymore. he needed to see him.

as soon as the student council meeting was over, he grabbed his bag and ran out of the council room.

the team would be practicing about now.

he walked briskly, his heart racing in his chest. behind him his keychain hung from his bag.

he could hear the voices of the team now, a few seniors whining. he guessed practice finished early today.

but where was richie. eddies eyes scanned over the players now, looking for the familiar curly hair and coke bottle glasses he had missed dearly.

he couldn't find him, it would be easy too, richie is very hard to miss.

"president!" a junior played had called eddie over.

"hey! what's going on?" eddie met their gaze. "did you come to see our senior? he should be still inside the gym."

eddie nodded a thank you, and as he moved on he could feel them watching his back. he looked down and avoided it, wondering if he should just turn back now and face this another day, or week, or year even.

eddie entered the gym now, looking around, there was no one there, practice was over after all.

eddie stopped walking when he heard a voice, it was richie.
