Chapter 6

~Back to when carter ran away in different P.O.V.~

Layla's P.O.V.

"Carter I" Kristen started to say but it was too late she ran away. She went to go run after her but Luke stopped her from leaving.

"Luke let me go before it's too late!" Kristen raised her voice.

"No." Luke said.

"Excuse me?" She questioned back with attitude. Oh Kristen can't you tell this boy likes her? God!

"I said no." He said.

"No nothing Luke! Let me go so I can fix my mistake before it's too late." She snapped.

Luke just rolled his eyes and handed her over to Micheal Calum and Ashton.

"I'm gonna find her and you're going to stay here." Luke practically ordered.

"Fine but she's not gonna wanna talk to a boy after what just happened!" She yelled back right as he was opening the door.

"She's also not gonna wanna talk to the one who made her run away either!" He said as he left running to find carter. Kristen had sorrow regret and anger in her eyes. I hope Carter will be okay.

It's been a half hour and there's still no sign of Luke or Carter. What happened to them out there? I hope they are okay. I wonder if anything happened to them and they're in danger? My train of thought was interrupted by Michaels amazing voice next to my ear.

"Are you okay?" His hot breath brushed against my ear and brought the chills to go through my body. And I guess he noticed because when I looked up at him to answer his question he had this funny looking but really cute smirk on his face.

I smiled and said, "yeah I'm fine. I'm just worried about my best friend that's all."

"She'll be fine trust me." Micheal reassured me. But I just looked at him with my signature confused puppy look.

He just smile and said, "I mean, Luke knows what he's doing so Carter is in good hands."

"How do I know he's not just gonna use my best friend like Sam did?" I asked with a sad face

He didn't respond so I kept going. "What if he lures her in like a fish and then throws her away when he's gotten what he wanted?"

Micheal just frowned and tucked my hair behind my ears.

"I can't stand to see my best friend hurt over a boy she thinks she loves but doesn't." I start to cry,"Micheal I can't stand to see her like how she was with Sam every night. She had mental break downs, panic attacks, bad anxiety, and cried whenever his name was heard or if she started to think about him." I was now crying in Michaels arms with him rubbing my back and saying things like, "Luke would never do that to Carter, Layla. Luke really likes Carter and if he were to ever do that to her he would be as broken and messed up as Carter is now. Luke has always been like that for god knows how long. She'll be fine she's in good hands."

I just nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck and held him tight not wanting to let him go. I felt something for this boy and it was driving me crazy!!

~Another 30 minutes pass~

Everyone is panicking at this point because Luke and Carter still haven't shown up since Carter ran away with Luke following not too far behind her. Then we heard footsteps getting closer and when we heard them stop everyone looked up at the door and cheered!!

Kristen and I ran up to Carter and hugged her while pulling her out into he hallway.

"Carter I'm so so soo sorry about what happened earlier I wasn't thinking. Oh my gosh I feel so bad!" Kristen kept going on and on about how sorry she was and wouldn't stop! I'm glad that Carter decided to shut her up.

"Kristen it's okay. I get it you didn't mean it. Shit happens. I'm totally fine. Trust me." Carter reassured.

Then Carter turned to me and I had a HUGE smirk on my face.

"What?" She asked.

"So tell me what's going on about Luke?" I ask now raising one eyebrow.

"Uhmm there's nothing going on about Luke. I don't understand what you wanna know." Carter says confused.

"Don't start playing stupid with me girl! I saw you two holding hands. What was that about?" I say.

Carter tenses up but doesn't say a word.

"Well?" Kristen says.

"I'm waiting." I say.

"Are you two a thing now or what?" Kristen asked.

"Umm well you see Luke found me and kept chasing me until he came up with an idea and got me to stop running and go with him to his dressing room. While we were in there I told him about Sam and what he did. Everything I would start to cry he would pull me into a hug and tell me I could stop. But I wanted to tell him so I said no everyone and pulled away form the hug and he would wipe the tears away from my face. Then we would continue to do that until I was finished with my story. We sat there for a moment or two while I cried into his shoulder and he rubbed my back saying that everything was going to be alright. When we pulled apart from the hug he wiped my face once again and then I said that we should probably go back. He agreed but when I was about to get off of his lap he stopped me and pulled me in for-" We cut her off

"OMG!! Did you guys kiss?!?" Kristen and I said together.

She giggled and continued," Yes, we kissed and after that I was in such awe that I kinda just stared at him. Then we left the extra room hand in hand as we made our way back here." When she finished Kristen and I squealed and hugged her.

"OMG Carter this is great!!" I exclaimed.

"I can't believe my baby cousin is growing up so fast" Kristen said while she pretended to wipe away tears from her eyes.

"You guys are so weird" she said and we laughed,"We know".

"Are you guys done being girls yet?" Ashton asked with his head poking out of the dressing room door.

We pulled apart from our group hug,"Yes. Yes we are."

Ashton just laughed and told us to come back in the dressing room before we get yelled at by the security guards.

We just laughed and nodded our heads as we walked back into the dressing room.
