Thirteen

Zayn's POV:
"Well hello Mr. Malik! Nice of you to join us." My teacher states sarcastically.
"I-I uh I-" I stutter out before being cut off. "No need for excuses Mr. Malik. Now just what were you doing that was more important than being to class on time? And don't even think about lying!" She asks.
If I tell her then I'll be in trouble with Harry. If I lie, and it isn't good enough for her to believe, then I'll get in trouble with her.
Regardless, getting in trouble with Harry is worse than getting in trouble with her. So I guess I'm lying.
"Erm, I forgot my locker combination, so I had to look through my phone for it. Once I found it, I ended up having to use the loo, so I went, and figured it wouldn't take too long, because I was already late." I say. I mean it's partly true, except for the loo business.
"Ok, but next time come to class before using the loo." She says.
"Yes mam." I reply and scurry off to my seat.
As soon as I sit down. No later than two seconds after, Harry bursts in.
"Harry! What, prey tell, do you think your doing bursting in here like that?!" She yells.
"Erm I was texting my dear mum, that I loved her. I burst in here because I was running." He says.
"Well next time hurry up with it." She says.
"Yes mam." He reply's. As soon as she turns around, he's grinning like a fool.
I just roll my eyes, because I know that everything he said was a lie. He probably hasn't spoke to his mom since that day five months ago.
He lives alone, and is my freaking neighbor for goodness sake!
That's all he does is lie. Lie, lie, lie. He's absolutely full of bologna. He wouldn't know the truth if it came and slapped him clean cross his face.
