As the sun rose beyond the beautiful rolling hills of the ranch, Carol smiled as she looked out of the window of her new bedroom. If she looked close enough, she could see the city of Nashville being rebuilt only about 20 miles away. Sometimes, she would use a pair of binoculars to get a look at the construction workers, using their tools to replace all the broken pieces of the blown-apart skyscrapers that had been nearly destroyed by bombs years before the epidemic ended.

Carol turned away from her window and walked over to her dresser to get her clothes ready for the day. Carol stopped for a moment to listen to the sound of the neighbors children playing outside in the sunrise, she looked out of another window opposite of the one she was looking out of prior to now. Carol smiled at the three small children playing in their front yard, two girls and one boy. They were chasing their dog around the front yard, their parent watching them with smiles on their faces while standing on their porch with cups of coffee in hand.

Carol looked away once more and began to get dressed, she took notice of the other people talking down stairs. Carol was currently living with the entire group she had been traveling with for all these years. The playful arguing she heard coming from Daryl and Rick made her smile, they we're arguing about being the glue police or something like that.

She pulled on a brand new pair of blue jeans she had gotten from a Sears yesterday. The specific store she had been to was bustling with people doing some shopping that day. She then put on a white T-shirt and made her bed. When she was finished, started to walk down the stairs, already smelling what had been cooked for breakfast that morning. From what she could smell, she assumed it was pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

She reached the bottom of the stairs, took in a deep breath, and smiled. Walking into the enormous kitchen, she saw Daryl at the stove with a spatula in his hand, scrambling some eggs in a pan. Across the room, in the extremely large living room attached to the kitchen, Carl, Glenn, Michonne, and Abraham, were all sitting on the very big couch trying to beat each other at Mario Kart on a large 80 inch screen Television.

Carol looked across the hall, where there was a large playroom, not separated by any walls. On a Pink and Purple rug, sat Lizzie, Mika, Andre Anthony, and Judith. They were all playing dress up together, the girls dressed up as Queens and Princesses, and Andre Anthony was a King. Tyrese was also playing with them, putting on a silly looking jester hat with jingle bells and pretending to entertain them and successfully making them laugh incredibly hard.

Carol smiled and thought about Lizzie, ever since the walkers disappeared a few years ago, she began to realize what they really were and what intentions they had. She would scream and run in the other direction if she even saw a picture of a zombie, even if it was a person in a Halloween costume. After greeting everyone good morning, she walked into the playroom and hugged all four children good morning.
