Diagon Alley

Leo POV
After doing a full on Scrooge Mcduck we exited the bank and I made fun of Percy and Thalia as they basically fell over themselves to get out of Hades territory.
We barely got out before we saw a pet shop full of owls,cats, toads and rats. I pressed my face to the glass.
"Cool" I exclaimed before walking in to the shop, I went to pet one of the owls but it ignored me as all the owls heads snapped to Percy.
"I'll...um...uh I'll wait outside." Percy stumbled while Annabeth laughed.
"I wonder what that was about." Hermione whispered to her friends.
I turned around grinning and spreading my arms out. "That my friends was Percy's great fear of owls. In person!" Percy glared at me through the glass. All the owls seemed to love Annabeth though. She got a snowy, grey one. But the rest of us didn't get anything. Leo got bigger fish to fry!
We walked past the wand shop and Nico pointed out we didn't have wands.
Harry's gaze narrowed "How do you not have wands?"
Annabeth answered quickly "Americans don't bring their wands out of our country in fear other ministries will steal our secrets."
Hermione accepted that answer but Ron and Harry didn't look convinced.
We walked into the shop and the mans eyes widened in surprise. "I was told but I didn't think that legend would be fulfilled." he looked at all of us in turn. Then turned around muttering to himself. "More powerful then the Elder Wand. They stated is was made by gods."
"Ooh cool." I shouted "creepy, old dude talking in riddles!" I stopped when Annabeth elbowed me.
"Hold on" Ron started. "Why do they get powerful wands?"
"The wand chooses the wizard Mr Weasley."
He handed something to Percy. "Made of coral and dried seaweed, 11 inches, reasonably springy and a core of thestral hair and Pegasus feather."
Percy took it gently.

I'm not gonna write the whole thing.
Annabeth: Olive tree, 11 inches, rigid core of thestral hair and owl feather.
Thalia: Pine tree, 11 & 1/2 inches, rigid core of thestral hair and -burnt from electricity wire- eagle feather.
Nico: Manchineel tree, 10 & 1/2 inches, rigid, a core of thestral hair and a small bone of a dead serial killer.
Leo: Baobab tree, 10 & 1/2 inches, reasonably springy a core of thestral hair and celestial bronze.

"I can cause some real damage with this thing." I said waving it around.
"Careful with that" Ron yelled. "Olivander those wands should belong to someone you can trust."
"Hey" Thalia retorted. "Are you calling us untrustworthy?" the air around her sparkled with electricity.
Annabeth got up in Ron's face. "I don't care what you think about us but if that's how you feel... LEAVE US ALONE."
Ron was about to respond but Percy snarled. Nico glowered and the room temperature dropped by 7 degrees.
"Yeah man no need to get up in our faces." I retorted. Rons face turned into a look of surprise. Oh man he look more surprised then Hazel was when I told her what a chicken nugget was. And I told him so.
I'm sure Harry would've stood up for Ron. But he looked to busy putting a mental puzzle together.
"Guys just apologise, I can't believe any of you." Hermione near shrieked.
"If that's how you feel then I'm leaving." Ron yelled. With once last glance at us he spied the SPQR tattoo on Percy's arm. And his eyes widened while his face went ghost white. He bolted out the door.
"Well that was fun." I said "it's all fun and games here in Diagon Alley. Sorry Ollie for Ron's annoyingance. We'll be leaving now."
"That's not a word Leo." Annabeth said.
"Come on Annie" I spread up arms out again. "you know that if it sounds right in my head it is a word."
We thanked Ollie and we continued to go and buy books. Don't think we forgot to pay. If I had my way I would sail the Fetus in the air and literally make it rain money.
"I apologise on Ron's behalf." Hermione said "Since Fred died he hasn't been quite the same." Her voice caught when she said Fred.
The much superior Demigods and the even more magnificent me didn't say anything out of kindness or boredom. But we have all dealt with loss before curtesy of child-swallower and potty sludge. I just nodded and I nearly smiled but I realised that would be kinda insensitive. Like "oh his brother died that's amazing if you try hard I'm sure you could die too!" The reason I almost smiled is because after the war there was an unspoken rule between campers. Don't say "I'm sorry" or "are you okay?" We all dealt with loss comes with being a demigod so the best thing to do is nod and smile. As if to say "I'm here for you." It's the only way it doesn't sound hollow.
I'm not going to bore you with the details basically: Harry glared at us every now and then, Hermione kept glancing at Harry worryingly and scanning for Ron while I told jokes and stopped a civil war between wizards and Demigods. We brought some books me and Percy got a lifetime supply of candies (I don't call it candy but they are American). When we were walking home most of the tension eased but Harry, Thalia and Nico still didn't talk a lot. We started walking back to the Weasley's home and Hermione asked a gazillion questions the whole way there. Some were normal some made us nervous. "Why does Percy like the colour blue so much?" "Why do you all look like your going to be attacked?" "How come Olivander thought you were special?" "What's your favourite wizarding subject?" It went on and on until we got back. At what was like the hundredth question I laughed. "Come on let us rest Percy's brain is not meant to process that many words at once."
All the Demigods laughed. Percy elbowed me playfully but it still hurt. Man that dude was strong.
"Ow cut it out water boy." I complained.
Everyone started laughing harder and Percy glared at me.
"Not waterboy again Leo."
We got back and Ron pulled Harry and Hermione aside and they started whisper arguing. The trio jumped when Nico appeared behind them.
"If your finished lunch is ready." he said, smirking at their surprise. "Also Thalia told me to tell you that we aren't Death Eaters, you all seemed to think so. And I guess that was what you were talking about."
