This is just great. After a few hours of peddling to the island, I realized that it wasn't as close as it looked. Not only that, but a storm has just hit and I'm at risk of drowning now!

This year has been a nightmare for me, honestly. But here I am anyways, floating in the ocean, in a storm. Just what I needed, now all I can do is hope for rescue and hang onto my log.

As time spans into the storm. I'm struggling to hang on to my log, I think I'm catching a cold. As my fingers go numb, I can't help but feel this is it.

By now I know plainly well that I'm in the ocean, about an hour ago, give or take, the water stopped stinging my wounds. Looking forward I noticed I'm still about a mile away from land at the least, and I know as my hands start to slip that I'm done for.

Breaching the water, I feel like I was just pumped full of ice. It's so cold, holding my breath I try to swim to the surface, but my bodies too weak.

As darkness approaches, I feel something grab me from below. I become weightless as I'm tugged up, and out of the water. I was thrown into a coughing fit, sucking in much needed air greedily.

Hiccups POV

Toothless, and I were on our way back from another tribe to Berk when the storm hit.

'Come on bud, almost home!'

I had to shout to be heard over the wind. As I look towards home, I notice movement in the water below.

'Hey bud, fly down lower. I see something.'

Toothless lowered to the water, and what I saw shocked me. A Sculdron had an unconscious boy on it's back, flying closer the dragon looks up and growls.

I backed off a pace, assuring it I'm not a threat to it or the boy. After I knew it was safe we got closer so I could check the boy, I was concerned those wounds looked bad.

After a few seconds of the dragon staying still, I was able to get the boy on Toothless in front of me. After thanking the Sculdron, we headed for home as quickly as possible.
