After I had bought the dress, I sent a picture to Son. I knew he'd like it, and I couldn't wait to see his reaction. When I got back to the flat, I was putting my art supplies away, until my phone rang. I picked it up to see it was a call from Son, so I eagerly answered.
"Hey, Son! How are you?" I asked as I picked up.
"I'm good, Suzie. By the way, you look absolutely gorgeous in that dress." He said, and I blushed lightly. He couldn't see that, luckily, and I tried to keep my cool with my voice.
"Thanks! It's for a wedding I'm going to in a few months." I told him, and there was a short pause. I assumed he was thinking of what to say next.
"Do you need a date?" He finally asked. I grinned.
"I was hoping you'd ask. I'd love to take you as my date." I said, and I heard him chuckle lightly.
"And I was hoping you'd say that. I'll get a tie to match your dress, shall I?" He asked, and I laughed.
"If you want to. Anyway, how are things in South Korea?" I asked.
"Things are alright. Mum's doing better now that we're all home, but I can't stop thinking about you, Suzie." He said. He was thinking about me as much as I was thinking about him? I was glad the feeling was mutual.
"I haven't stopped thinking about you, either. I just want to see you again, get those drinks I promised, maybe do a bit more..." I muttered, and the tiny chuckle told me I'd hit the spot.
"What do you mean by a bit more?" He asked, semi seductively.
"Well, maybe take you home with me, you can spend the night there, in my bed... with me..." I explained, and I heard him laugh. There was a smirk on my face, the thought of my suggestion had me feeling hot.
"Oh really? I'll have to make sure I come back soon then." He said. He hadn't refused the offer to spend the night with me, so I was feeling rather smug.
"Yes you will. I'm ordering you to come home soon." I said cockily.
"How does next week sound then?" He asked, and I gasped.
"Next week? Really?" I asked with a shocked tone to my voice.
"Yeah. Mum's getting better, and she said I could go at the start of next week. I'll be back by Tuesday." He told me, and by then I was grinning.
"I can't wait to see you again." I said.
"Me neither. The things we can do when I get back..." he muttered, and I sighed.
"I must be a lucky girl." I said dreamily, and I son laughed softly.
"Anyway, I've got to go, Suzie. I'll see you when I get home." He said, and I nodded, before realising he couldn't hear a nod.
"Yeah. I'll see you soon." I said, before he hung up and I got back to my art supplies, smiling like a giddy teenager for the rest of the day.
