“Heidi!” A staff of a nearby grocery greeted.

Heidi went through her bag and reached out a folder, “Eto na ung math homework mo. Lalagyan mo nalang ng digits if round-off kailangan mo, pero if hindi tapos na yan” she happily explained.

“Thank you Heidi! You’re the best!” The staff jumped for joy.

“Pasok na ako.” Heidi walked her way just a few blocks from the grocery.

Heidi Hojilla is a fresh graduate of BSBA-Accountancy.

Why?

She is simply good at almost everything. Middle class ang family status nila, ganun pa man..she continues to strive to aim higher.

Heidi reached in her paper bag to grab the documents needed.

Heidi turned to her left, “This is your son’s lesson plan. It would be easier for you to follow his lessons and maybe advance him in school.” She again reached in her bag to show what she finished to a foreigner that was also a staff.

“Eto ung list mo Lani.”, “Eto ung book na hinahanap mo Jerome.”, “Eto ung instructions from the boss.”

She was that flexible and still looking stunning.

Heidi gave an album of her certificates to another officemate who was curious.

Name it! Nakuha na ni Heidi!

From short courses to majors, natapos lang niya na may kasabay pa na ibang klase.

As in!

Natry niya lahat ng basics..Computer programs..to baking..to even car mechanics alam niya lahat!

“Heidi, the boss is looking for you pala.” A staff informed her.

She went straight to the office of her boss, Mr. Salvador - the company owner and CEO.

“Good Morning Heidi! Finally dumating ka na!” Mr. Salvador greeted.

This was just a few months back.

She again had her ways and hindi lang naging stable ung company, it even exceeded what Mr. Salvador expected.

She was immediately promoted and had a regular position in the office.

I have to fix 7 accounts! At dahil ikaw ang aking angel, may I kindly ask you to fix it for me?” Without waiting for Heidi’s answer, “Thank you Heidi! You’re the best!”

Medyo nastartle si Heidi, “Ah…si..sir.. I can’t help you on this po.”

Nanlaki mata ni Mr. Salvador, first time siyang tinanggihan ni Heidi.

After 7 months of service, biglang nagiba ata timpa?

“Bakit?..what’s wrong?” He asked seriously.

“Sir.” Heidi reached in for the final paper inside her paper bag, “I’m resigning na po.”

Sigaw neto.

He grabbed on Heidi’s arm, and assisted her instead palabas ng office.

The boss stood in front of the employee’s quarters, “May nambubully ba sayo sa mga yan?” isa-isa niyang tinuro ang mga tao.

“May ginawa ba silang masama sayo?!” Sigaw ulit ng boss.

Nagtataka ang mga staff what was happening.

“Sir, hindi po ako nagreresign dahil…” Hindi na natapos ni Heidi sasabihin niya.

Dahil sa term na ‘resign’, nagwala na lahat sa office.

Everyone was so confident when she is around and also saw Heidi as a reliable friend, papaano nila hahayaan si Heidi magresign?!

Kanya-kanyang reklamo, kanya-kanyang pigil.

“QUIET!!!” Mr. Salvador slowly turned to Heidi, “Is it because of me?” He asked with a shakey tone na parang naiiyak nalang.

“Sir, it’s not your fault! Personal ko pong desicision ito.” Heidi finally was able to express her thoughts.

“Ay…wag ka naman magmadali sa pagalis saamin…Pwede ko taasan sweldo mo, gusto mo maging Vice-CEO, you say it!” Her boss begged, bumackup nadin mga kasama niya sa work.

“Sir sorry po talaga. But kailangan ko po magfocus sa ibang bagay.” Heidi was dedicated to pursue her personal plan.
