He brushed his fingers thru the shelves to find a few specks of dust, “and dirty ha?” he laughed.
“Ah! Konting punas lang yan..It was my idea of the design.” James said.
MM nodded agreeing to the style inside, “So walang nacontribute dito girlfriend mo?”
“Ah hindi! Siya nakapagpatayo neto! Kundi dahil sakanya..wala kaming ganito.” James praised his girl.
“It isn’t hard to put a shop, the challenge is keeping it alive.” MM added.
Nagpantig tenga ni Heidi, “This business won’t be going anywhere. Sisiguraduhin kong bebenta kami.”
MM looked at her with an eyebrow raised, “Be sure.”
Alam ni James na nagkakapukinan nanaman ang dalawa kaya he insisted to tour MM nalang inside the kitchen para lang maghiwalay sila ni Heidi ng lugar.
After a few minutes, James was about to leave dahil may work pa din ito.
MM agreed, but wanted to know where the supermarket was.
Sa tagal niyang nawala, ung mga alam niyang mga establishments nagbago na.
Eh wala nang pagkain sa bahay itong si MM.
“May pasok ako Mar.. mamaya nalang! Samahan kita." James gave a pat on MM's back.
"Kaso...wala akong food at home. Alam mo naman siguro na I'm very precise with my food..hindi ako fan ng pagkain labas."
Hearing this, walang nagawa si Heidi, “Ako sasama skanya.”
She remembered what she said, “I promise to take care of your brother while he’s here.”
Kaya no choice, kahit masama pa loob neto.
