Ang aga aga, nagmamadaling umalis si Hazel.
Tinawagan siya ni Hayzeline kagabe, hindi niya nabago isip ni Meljohn but she was willing to lend money.
Hindi tinanggap ni Hazel ang alok, instead they came up with a different plan.
Pag akyat ni Hazel, nagkita sila ni Hayzeline sa desk before entering the office of Meljohn.
“Ready ka na sis?” Hayzeline asked.
Hazel nodded.
They entered the office.
“Good Morning sir! Hazel, my friend is here to see you.” Magalang na bati ni Hayzeline.
Meljohn smiled, “Oh hey, can’t wait to see me in court ha?”
“Eto po.” Hazel answered. She gave a small bag to Meljohn filled with money.
It actually surprised Meljohn, “Seriously….you got the money?” He said as he opened the pouch.
“Kulang po talaga yan. Kulang ng P50,000.” Pagamin naman ni Hazel.
Meljohn just stared.
“Sir, in return..she’ll be working for you para mabayaran ung kulang po niya. Is that acceptable sir?” Tanong ni Hayzeline.
Meljohn showed no reaction.
“Sir! She is very smart, flexible and I’m pretty sure she will not disappoint you. I'll be training her personally.” Hayzeline immediately added.
Si Hazel naman was just anxious to hear a yes, first time siyang napasama sa ganitong gulo, ayaw niyang mademanda lalo na’t madamay pamilya niya.
“Ok.” Meljohn's short replied.

“PAPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” Tawag ni Heidi sa ama.
“Anak?! May sunog?!! Asan ang sunog!!! Asan!!!!!!!!!!!!” Takbo naman ng ama sa anak.
“Bakit ganito nalang po laman ng savings ko?!” Mangiyak-ngiyak na pagtanong ni Heidi with her fast book in hand.
“Magkano ba yan?” Malabo kasi mata ni Tito Hector.
“P100.00 po!” Humandusay na si Heidi sa lapag.
Tila nanghina sa nadatnan niyang laman ng bank account niya.
“Ah..si Hazel kasi nagkaproblema…” Panginginig ng boses ni Tito knowing na magagalit si Heidi.
“P200,000 pesos ang sagot sa problema niya?!?!?” Heidi kicked her feet due to the stress that she just felt, “Pambayad ko po un sa rent ng business! I promised my landlord to pay up by this week…hindi pa po ako nakakadownpayment ng buo daaaaaaaaaaaaad!”
“Hala anak, I thought it was ok….ate mo kasi nagkaproblema sa may-ari ng Gammonel Corporation kaya pinababayaran siya kundi madedemanda siya.”
“Papa naman….ako naman maiipit ngayon kasi wala akong pangbayad…pati mga makenariya ko hindi pa lahat bayad…”
“Anak pasyensiya na…pero magbabayad din naman sayo si Hazel.”
“Ano nalang sasabihin ko kay James?” Heidi thought.
She wiped her eyes, she started to be teary eyed but she thank positive.
“Pa, sige ako nalang bahala. I’ll think of a way.”

James sighed a looooong sigh.
“I’m so sorry.” Heidi continued to apologize to James after telling him what happened.
James was obviously disappointed.
Kung baga, perfectly planned out na lahat and then something just had to go wrong.
“Gawan nalang natin ng paraan Heidi. I’ll ask my advance from my boss nalang..lapit na naman December baka maramdaman niya spirit of giving…” James suggested.
Heidi continued to apologize ulit.
“Wait!" Heidi thought of an idea, "What about your brother? Malaki naman kinikita niya..Maybe he could lend us money? We’ll pay him nalang monthly?”
“That sounds pretty good…if pumayag siya. Alam mo naman yun...” James shook his head.
“Bakit siya hindi papayag..eh this is for his only brother..”
“I never asked him to lend me money you know but I’ll try since sobrang urgent neto. Tawagan ko siya to meet us for dinner.”
