Kiersan Blake tapped her pencil against the desk in a rhythmic manner, smirking as the agitated raven-haired, brown-eyed "queen" of the school Seraphina Jones sent glares her way. As a drummer, the taps against the metal desk were specifically made to be annoying and echoed rather loudly in the nearly empty detention room. Besides the two girls in the room, there were also Ashton Andrews and Martin Porter who'd gotten into a fight earlier this morning.
Their supervisor, Mr.Sloan, had fallen asleep minutes ago, which left Kiersan a lot of room to be as annoying as the physics of vibrations would allow her. Several minutes passed in the disturbed silence when Seraphina pointed a middle finger toward the drummer. Kiersan laughed, stopping suddenly as she delved into her backpack and dug out another pencil.
"Careful what you wish for, princess," she taunted, continuing her never-ending cycle of being a nuisance in the life of Seraphina.

"You are so fucking annoying," were the first words uttered in Kiersan's direction as soon as detention was over. Seraphina looked back to glare at the girl as her boyfriend, Jake Harding, put an arm around her shoulder protectively and escorted her out of the school's main entrance.
Kiersan smiled to herself, satisfied at having successfully gotten under Seraphina's skin as she stopped at her locker, three hallways down from the detention room, and placed a textbook she was supposed to read over the weekend inside of it. For someone who only did her homework last minute and never actually took time to study, Kiersan held exemplary grades, but her tendency to land in detention made her wary in the eyes of many teachers.
Seraphina, on the other hand, only wound up in detention metaphorically once in a millennia and every single instance seemed to have been about that brunette drummer with the brown eyes so dark that a soul was hard to find behind them. There had been several rumors about Kiersan and her morals or her lack thereof, but Kiersan lacked the care to compensate her classmates with any sort of action that would genuinely deny or confirm such gossip. Kiersan knew what she was, and had no care in the world as to what others thought of her since she only listened to her own opinion about herself. This bothered everyone, especially Seraphina who had a list that would encircle the world about things Kiersan could fix about herself.
"What're you doing here, Kier? I thought you didn't like extracurriculars or something like that." Said a voice, startling Kiersan momentarily as she shut her locker door closed. She turned to her right and peered into what she could see of Jude Banchor's brown eyes which were slightly hidden by a blond wisp of bangs held to his face by the fixation of a bright red beanie atop of his head. Jude was leaning against his longboard, his long jean shorts nearly reaching the ground because of his stance, and his pierced left eyebrow (though Kiersan couldn't really tell under the bangs) raised in suspicion.
"I don't. I had detention, courtesy of Seraphina Jones and her inability to not be a fucking bitch for once." Kiersan said, turning her attention to her locker as she put the lock back onto it. Jude hummed in understanding, having had a fair share of Seraphina's antics in the past.
"Dude, she is so hot, imagine if she had a good personality, like...God really said she can't have it all and made her the way she is." Jude said seriously, picking up his longboard and holding it from his armpit.
"Don't call her hot in front of me. Are you crazy?" Kiersan asked, rolling her eyes. Jude chuckled lightly, giving Kiersan a slight punch on the shoulder.
