The Identity of the Mysterious Boy

///Danny's POV///

"Who are you?" I talked yet my voice was so hard to grasp on to without cracking as I forgot how long I have used my voice.

The kid with the domino mask and a street lamp costume spoke first before the other man dressed in black could talk. "We found you at that creepy facility due to the radioactive activity being high there." Said Streetlamp.  "What's your name kid?" I jumped at the sound of his voice being so deep but hard to break away from his eyes that gave a glare that wanted answers.

Should I tell them? Who I really am or should I use a fake name? Yeah, I won't tell them just yet. Once I know them better, I'll tell them.

"Phantom, my name is Phantom." I said with more ease that I can talk a little better but was still a little ruff. "How old are you, Phantom?" Asked the black dressed grown man in a costume but I'm give him a name.

Mmh I think I'll call him Dark-night cause he is black as the night. Let's get back to the story!

"How old are you, Phantom?" Asked Dark-Night as he looked at me, I could not see his eyes but the glare it came off his mask.

I don't remember how long I've been there at the GIW being their little experiment. I was captured when I was 15 years old at 2019 so what year was it now?

"What year is it?l I asked Dark-Night. He looked at me with a worried look and said, " It's the year 2022, how long have you been at that facility for?" He looked at me with a weird look with terror but sadness in it as well. "Well if I was taken when I was 15 years old at 2019 and now is 2020, I should be 18 years old. So I've been stuck there for three whole years." I spoke in a calm matter but the air was thin and was quiet.

///Robin's POV///

After we left Phantom, to get some rest. Everyone turned to Batman, with terrified expressions. Wondering how this boy was alive from those experiments they did on him but also being tortured for three whole years! " I'll look further on that facility and try to find out why they may have been experimenting on him." Batman said before he left for the Bat cave leaving us standing in the living room as the room filled with silence. We all left to do our own personal matters but I thought I should get to know Phantom more and try to also search for more evidence of this facility. I entered in his room, only to be surprised seeing Phantom awake on the bed. "Hey, so ummm—" I started off but I didn't know what to say. He looked at me with a confused look as he tried settle in a comfortable position, that's when I noticed his bandages were covered in green blood. Then I remember that it was important to change bandages. "Hey, Phantom was it? I'm Robin and I need to help change those bandages for clean ones." I spoke softly so he wouldn't get startled as I walked closer to him. I grabbed the fresh batch of bandages as I made my way towards him only for him to move back against the bed. "It won't hurt, I'll only be removing the old bandages for new ones, okay?" I spoke in a soft voice while not breaking away from his toxic green eyes. When I removed the dirty bandages, I was horrified to see markings all across his back to his chest but especially a big X marking that stood way out in the open across his back.

How's this kid still alive after all he was put through, he looks like he's been in hell and back!?

I didn't realize that I was staring until I heard a voice. "Umm are you okay? You've been staring for the past minute." He told me with a concern look. " Oh I was just thinking about something." He looked at me confused but gave up trying as he stood still for me to wrap the freshly new bandages around him. "Hey I don't mean to be rude but why were you in that facility?" I asked backing up with another sentence, " You don't need to talk about if you don't want to..." He was putting a lot of thought in this question. He turned to face me as I pulled up a chair to listen. "I'm.... How would put this? I was at the GIW known as the Ghost Investigation Ward because I'm a ghost they've never seen before." He said to me.
