"Child, what are you doing?!" FG yelled, voicing the thoughts of the onlookers.

"If you won't make me beautiful, I'll do it myself! Bibbidi bobbidi boo!" Jane yelled. She turned in circles, trying to control the wand but it overpowered her. A beam of light struck towards the sky.

"Take cover!" Adam bellowed. Mal stepped forward and grabbed hold of the wand, attempting to wrestle it out of Jane's hands.

"Careful, Mal!" Belle called out. Mal managed to take the wand and wielded it in front of her.

"Mal, give me the wand," Ben said calmly.

"Stand back!" she cried, the wand still in front of her in an offensive position.

"It's okay," Ben continued, still calm and doing well under the pressure.

"Ben, I said stand back!" Mal didn't want to hurt Ben. She didn't want to hurt anybody.

"I told you so!" Audrey inserted from the sidelines. An unnecessary and rude comment if there ever was one. Mal pointed the wand at her, causing Audrey to yelp.

The other VK's crashed through the cathedral doors. They stood behind the fairy, prepared to run.

"Let's go," Carlos said, quite unsure of himself. He avoided Margo's gaze, her face sad and confused.

"Revenge time," Jay stated, regret and pain already in his eyes. Margo looked at her honorary brother with the same look she had given Carlos. This wasn't the family she knew. Something was up.

"You really want to do this?" She asked. She knew in her heart this was not their fault. She only hoped they'd realize they didn't have to follow through on this before it was too late.

"We have no choice Margo! Our parents-" Mal was interrupted by her boyfriend.

"Your parents made their choice. Now you make yours." His statement hung in the air. The room watched with anticipation.

"I think I want to be good," Mal said, the wand lowering slightly.

"You are good," Ben told her.

"How do you know that," her voice rose as her whole body shook.

"Because," the king searched for the right words, "because I'm listening to my heart."

"I want to listen to my heart too," Mal declared. She lowered the wand and turned to talk to her friends. "And my heart is telling me that we are not our parents. I mean, stealing things doesn't make you happy," she looked at Jay, "tourney and victory pizza with the team makes you happy."

"Yeah!" One of his team members chimed in.

Mal turned to Carlos before proceeding. "Being with Margo makes you happy. And scratching Dude's belly, who would've thought?" She finally turned to her best friend. "And Evie, you do not have to play dumb to get a guy. You are so smart. And I don't want to take over the world with evil. It doesn't make me happy. I want to go to school." She turned to look at the king. "And be with Ben. Because Ben makes me really happy." She held up her hand to show him his ring, tears threatening to fall. She turned again to face the others. "Us being friends makes me really happy. Not destroying things. I choose good you guys." Mal placed her first out in the middle of the group, waiting and hoping for the others to join. There was a silent pause.

"I choose good too," Jay put his hand in the middle with Mal.

"I choose good," Evie continues, placing her first in the middle as well. The whole room looked to Carlos.

"So, just to be clear, we don't have to be worried about how really mad our parents will be?" the crowd chuckled before he continued, "because they're gonna be really, really mad."

"Your parents can't reach you here," Ben assured him.

"Even if they could, they'd have to get through me first," Margo chimed in.

"Okay then," Carlos smiled and looked into Margo's eyes as he placed his fist in the middle. "Good."

Mal nodded for the royal siblings to join them. She layed her head on Ben's shoulder, the six taking in the beauty of the moment.

A green smoke appeared in the room, quickly disappearing to reveal a familiar figure. "I'm back!"
