I woke up. The sunlight was hitting my face, making my eyes hurt as I opened them.

I sat up and stretched. Was Caleb not awake yet? He would normally come in as I was waking up.

It had been a week since he told me he was a demon. I tried not getting on his bad side, but it wasn't that easy. Remember how he wouldn't let me outside the room? Well now he does. As long as I try not escaping.

I got up and walked to the door. I tried opening it, but it was locked. What? I tried pushing it, but it didn't budge.

I was about to kick it, until I heard voices from the other side. One I could recognize, it was Caleb, but there were another two I didn't know. I started to listen, putting my ear on the door to hear better.

"She's not here!" It was Caleb's voice.

"We were informed that she was last seen here, last night" one of the other voices said, he had a very heavy African American accent.

"Well, I haven't seen her since she disappeared" it was Caleb again, he now sounded sad. "She didn't even know me, she never knew about my existance" I heard his voice crack. Where they talking about me?

"Well, if she didn't know you, than how could she be here last night?"

"I'm telling you she's not here!" Caleb now screamed. The voices stopped for a few seconds.

"Fine, if you hear anything, just let us know"

"Wait, I thought she was supposed to be dead?" Caleb talked again.

"Yes, that's what we all thought, but since they informed her beeing here... We don't know anymore"

"Wait, so you didn't even find her body?" Caleb asked, not getting a response. I heard footsteps getting faint, then a door closing.

I heard another pair of footsteps getting close to my room, so I walked to my bed and laid down, pretending to not have heard anything.
