"Ask away" he said, not so happy about it. I swallowed, nodding.

"What were you doing? Before coming in"

"I was just moving some stuff around" he said. It didn't sound completely true, but I still believed him. I nodded, grinning a bit.

I got closer to Caleb, him putting one arm around me, me resting my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes for a few seconds, then falling asleep.

When I woke up, I noticed that I was in the bed. The sun was shining through the window, hitting my face. I got up and walked to the door, now being open.

I walked out, the smell of fresh pancakes invading my nose. I walked to the kitchen, the smell getting bigger.

I saw Caleb distracted, maybe putting pancakes on a plate? I don't know.

I walked up to him, looking at what he was doing. He had a plate in front of him and was serving some juice in a cup. "Hey" I said, scaring him, making him laugh.

"You scared me there" he said still laughing, then making me laugh.

"Sorry,  well, not really" I laughed too. He handed me the plate and the cup and I walked to the table, him behind me.

We ate in silence, finishing around ten minutes after. "We need to talk" he said looking at me.

"Yes?" I said, leaving the fork on the plate then looking at him.

"I'm heading out today, I need to get some stuff, buy things, you know" he sounded kinda nervous. I just looked at him while he was talking. "Well, I don't know at what time I'm coming back, maybe tomorrow even, so you'll be alone all day" I just nodded, him smiling.

"You know the rules, don't go outside, and if I come back and you're not here, you'll always come back even though you don't remember" his eyes turned black, a voice being heard behind his own. I swallowed, grinning nervously.

"Okay" I shyly said, making him smile.

He walked up to me, kissing my head. "I'm off, be a nice girl" he said, the other voice still being heard.
