The next morning, I woke up, the sun in my face. I covered my face with the blanket, I wanted to go back to sleep. Minutes passed and I couldn't sleep, so I just groaned as I got up.

I walked to the door and tried opening it, but it was locked. I sighed, did the police come back? I glued my ear to the door, trying to hear something. Nothing.

I frowned. I knocked on the door, but I never heard footsteps anywhere. I just sighed and went back to the bed, sitting on the edge.

I stayed there for a while, so I decided to lay down on the bed, wrapping myself around the blankets.

I woke up because I heard a groan, like if someone just hit themselves. I rubbed my eyes as I got out of bed, walking to the door. I glued my ear again, listening to some footsteps and as if they were dragging something. I frowned, what was he dragging?

I tried opening the door, but it was still locked. The footsteps faded when I tried opening the door, then they started walking faster, fading away as they were getting far away.

I returned to the bed, waiting for Caleb to come back and open me. I wait a while, looking at the window. Was I asleep for a while? No clue.

I got out of my thoughts as I heard a click on the door, turning to look at the door. It opened, Caleb coming inside.

He looked at me, smiling. I looked at his cheek, was that blood?
