NEWS spread like wildfire about Harry Potter fainting when one of Azkaban's dementors entered the train on the way to Hogwarts in search for the notorious, Sirius Black.

Sure, Clary felt all gloomy and depressed when the dementor went inside their compartment but not to the point that she would faint.

Draco Malfoy on the otherhand, found it pathetic. He found another way and excuse to downgrade Harry and he was more than pleased about it.

"Potter," Draco said, "Potter!" he said, a bit louder. Finally, Harry turned around to face the Slytherin table. "Is it true you fainted?" he inquired and the Slytherin next to him mocked him by pretending that he fainted. "I mean, you actually fainted."

"Shove off , Malfoy." Ron sneered.

Clary rolled her eyes, "You know, Malfoy, instead of downgrading everything Potter does, you should mind your own business for once, jerk."

Draco glared daggers at her, "What? You have a thing for this scar-face now?"

"So immature for you to think that I like a guy just because I defended him."

Hermione looked at Clary, mouthing her a 'thank you'

"Don't flatter yourselves. I didn't do it for you." Clary said to the Gryffindor and turned her attention back to the headmaster.

"Fortunately, I am delighted to announce that his place will be taken by none other, than our own Rubeus Hagrid." Dumbledore spoke and everyone-except for the Slytherin table-applauded for their new Care for Magical Creatures teacher.

"Finally, on a more describing note. As a request of the Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts will further notice play host to the dementors of Azkaban until such a time Sirius Black is captured."

Whispers that turned into chatters erupted in the Great Hall, every topic about Sirius Black, who had managed to escape from Azkaban.

"Sirius Black?"

"He escaped from Azkaban?"

"Wait, doesn't Azkaban have this high security?"

"The dementors will be stationed at every entrance of the grounds. Now I have been assured that their presence will not disrupt our day to day activities. A word of caution, Dementors are vicious creatures. They will not distinguish between the one they hunt and the one who gets in their way. Therefore I must warn each and every one of you to give them no reason to harm you." Dumbledore warned.

"Ooh, I'm so scared." Draco mocked.

"I've got chills." One of his delinquents added and they started snickering.

"It is not in the nature of a Dementor to be forgiving." Dumbledore stated, "But you know, happiness could be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light."

"What was that all about?" Draco hissed, approaching Clary who was on her way to the dungeons.

"What was what?" She innocently asked.

"Defending Potter?" He recalled, venom in his voice at the mention of his name.

Draco felt somewhat embarrassed after Clary told him off at the Great Hall earlier. He being a prideful prick, he thought about what he was going to say and decided to tell her off in private.

They were friends. It wasn't the first time Clary defended the Golden Trio infront of Draco. And Merlin, Draco did not like it whenever she did it. Nevertheless, despite how prideful the Malfoy was, they still remained friends.

"I mean, you were being a prick." She shrugged.

"So what?" He asked, "Know where to stand." he warned and walked off.
