The courts in UK as well as in Mumbai have filed cases and shutdown many fake companies being run by the same gang. The company owner Vijay Dalwani and sales director Ajit Patel have been convicted for cheating people.

The victims give in to the convincing power of pushy call centre executives and purchase large quantities of supplements. These telesales executives target wealthy customers in the UK who have debit or credit cards and are suffering from an ailment.
In Warwickshire, an 89 year old man paid close to ten thousand pounds over a period of eighteen months towards purchase of supplements from the Sanda Wellness bogus company. The man who became vulnerable and gave in to the targeted approach of the telesales staff filed a case against the company in Warwickshire country.
The investigation revealed that the company sold inappropriate combinations of the supplement with inappropriate quantities. Mr. Ajit Patel was acquitted in the UK for breaches in the of consumer protection legislation.

The telesales staff claim that the product 'Pomy' has the goodness of pomegranate and is a rich source of vitamin A, vitamin B3, vitamin C and vitamin E along with folic acid. All this information provided by the call centre people are untrue. There are negligible quantities of these nutrients in the supplements.
