𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐬; 𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.

"Do you still love me?"

Jaliyah fiddled with her fingers and waited for an response. None.

They both glanced at each other across the table with emotionless eyes. Jaliyah's fingers gripped the pockets of her sweats in an attempt to postpone the pain she was certain she was going to recieve. She silently waited for him to say something, anything.

Say something.

The words she so eagerly waited to hear never slipped out from his lips. This was the last straw. With a defeated sigh she looked down, tasting her salty tears in her mouth. Dashes of tears kept flowing as if her eyes were waterfalls. She took a breath, trying her best to hold back her choked sobs, desperate to come out. You realized the silence was it. It was the end of you and Brandon. The end of your chapter with him as his significant other. You thought embracing it would work. Yet it didn't stop the pain from swelling up and taking over your being. Your heart was tore to shreds.

'How could someone, that once loved me so bad it hurt, do this to me?' Jaliyah shook violently.
I'm giving up on you.

"Brandon." Jaliyah's voice was softer than wind. He shuffled in his chair, which meant she had his full attention.
"Say something.." she murmured, holding her arm close to her heart. She couldn't feel the beat. It was so dull it's like she was dying. She didn't want this to end. No. Atleast not this way. Not him leaving her for a friend. But with the seemingly neverending silence it became clear to her, he was letting go.

"No. I'm sorry."
"NO!! NOO!!" She dropped to her knees, scraping them, crying like an ugly baby.
"Please! Don't do this. You're the one that I love..."
"It isn't anyones fault. I just lost feelings naturally and gained for another. But I never meant to.. Cheat. I just didn't know how to end it with you on good terms. I'm sorry."

And i'm saying goodbye.

He silently walked out of the cafe, looking at her crying and shaking figure on the floor once more, before he drove off to the PM house.
'He's gone.'
