As I stepped off if the train, I took in the scent of the city. 'Smells just like home' I thought. I walked out of the underground station and into the busy streets. Well, not so busy now, since the sun was setting. I started walking towards home since it was getting late. My stomach grumbled. 'Oh yeah, I haven't eaten yet...' I looked for some restaurant or take out place so I could grab something. Then I noticed Russia's Sushi, just about to close. "Um, excuse me!" I ran up to the tall man in a chefs' get up. "I can see you're closing, but do you have a few moments to spare?" I pleaded. My stomach sent a response as well, grumbling. The man turned around and I saw it was Simon. "Oh, hi there Simon!"
"Name! It's you! Vere have you been?"
"Oh you know, out of town, out and about." I scratched the back of my head.
"I see. You want some Russia's Sushi? I serve you some. Please, come inside."
"Thanks a lot, Simon!" And I followed him inside. As he worked, I sat on the chair by the counter and rest my head on my hand. I didn't even realize how tired I was, that I was falling asleep. I jolted awake as I hear something being put in front of me. "Here you go." Simon smiled.
"Thanks a lot, Simon." I took out my wallet and have him the money for the little box of Fatty Tuna sushi.By this time, it was really dark out, and the only source of light was the street lamps. I basically dragged my body back to my house.
Once I arrived, I pulled out the house key, and stepped inside. It seemed fairly clean for being left behind for 4 years. My parents died when I was 16. I'm now 20 years old. I left Ikebukoro right when I graduated high school. The pain was too much to bear. I dropped my bags, took out my bra - damn that annoying thing-, took off my pants and threw them somewhere unimportant, plopped down on the bed, and went straight to sleep.
