"I'm home..." Eva said as she opened the apartment door, hoping to get a greeting back from her roommate. Yet, her eyes went wide in amazement to see Kara still sleeping just like she was when Eva left to work. Eva takes a quick look at the clock and Feeling it impossible to hide her anger, she ran and kicked Kara so strong, she landed on the other side of the wall, leaving a little crack on it. Kara screamed as she cups her head in pain, trying so hard not to cry but her tears, already gave it in.
"JESUS CHRIST EVA, WHAT THE HOLY FUCK WAS THAT FOR-"Before Kara could finish her sentence, A blurry black object came flying to her face, as her head banged back to the wall. Getting Hit by the handbag was a daily routine by today it felt unusually heavier.
"EVA WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU AND WHY THE HELL IS YOUR HANDBAG SO DAMN HEAVY-" Kara stopped her sentence midway yet again... as she saw Eva's left leg come from above her as she covered herself like a blanket with her arms out of fear, for she knew Eva's Axe stomp is enough to break her skull into two if it lands down her head like a thunderbolt. But it didn't for a couple of seconds and Kara slowly opened her eyes to see Eva's leg still on mid-air and chuckles in relief, still puzzled as to why her roommate is wild. Eva finally speaks up, her expression the most horrifying Shade of anger.
"Firstly..." Eva said, her voice deep and scary.
"Don't you ever. Ever again. use the Lord's name in Vain." Her tone the most serious and the deepest one you will hear, not to mention her undying love to God that scares even little kids who keep saying every minute the " I SWEAR TO GOD" For no good reason.
"Second. Either tell me why you are still in bed...or allow me to land my leg right down your head and crack it open like a pomegranate. The choice is yours." Eva finished her sentence, her eyes staring down at me like she is talking to a worthless trash.
"I_I-I WILL START THE JOB HUNT, ILL STAY UP LATE TONIGHT *YAWWWN* DONT WORRY I PROMISE!" I said as I yawned too loud in the middle, making Eva even more pissed off.
"YAWNING EVEN AFTER 15 TO 16 HOURS OF SLEEP? YOU PIECE OF DISGRACE-!" Eva said in a way more serious tone and I knew that's the cue and I'm done for. Eva lands her blow and there again... I see...with my eyes closed, the flashes of lightning in my eyes, as the heavy pressure that hit on the center of my head sends chills down my spine, making me go numb. But clearly she went easy on me cause even if she wanted to go all out, she knows she can't break open the skull of her own roommate. Eva then heaved a heavy annoyed sigh and heads to the kitchen with frustration.
"GET UP FROM THERE AND GO FRESH UP, I AINT RE-HEATING DINNER JUST FOR YOU! Tch." She said as she begins making dinner without changing her work clothes as I chuckled in pain and headed to the bathroom.
...
"How was work today? Made the tourists fall into your radiant smile again to come back tomorrow?" I said jokingly as Eva rolled her eyes.
"Yea I did hehe, but there was this huge explosion and this little kid got scared thinking it was an elephant. I carried the kid throughout the entire session, but I didn't realize he was still worried about the sound so I ended up promising him I'll check it out. But... all I found was a suspicious black feather..." Eva finished as she looked at her handbag from afar. Kara looks at the bag too and then she gasped, as she recollects something she was wanting to say.
"Right! Your damn HANDBAG! WHY WAS IT SO HEAVY THAT IT LEFT A SCAR ON MY HEAD LIKE, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN CARRYING? AN ACTUAL PORTABLE ELEPHANT?" I said as I pulled up my bangs and showed her the fresh thick wounded scar.
"Eh? All I have in the bag are my extra pens and a notepad. It was a little heavier than before for some reason but how can it still leave a scar on your face like this today? I've been throwing handbags at you since you first came here, you must have been filled with scars if that's the case." Eva chuckled as Kara rolls her eyes and gives Eva the cue to continue what she was saying.
