I paced the hospital emergency room as they examined Chanel, ran tests, and got her ready for an ultrasound while I was panicking, Chanel was also panicking and crying.

"It's my fault." I said out loud.

"Okay," The doctor said taking his gloves off and watching the ultrasound screen. "I'm gonna need you both to calm down."

Him saying that just made Chanel cry harder.

"Miss your baby is fine." He said.

"What?" She asked still crying.

"Your cervix is still attached, from looking at the baby everything looks fine, you and your baby are not showing any distress, and the bleeding was very light and has stopped. When was the last time you had sex?"

"Uh, right before we come here actually." I answered awkwardly.

The doctor nodded. "That seems to be the cause. I wouldn't say sex is out the picture just yet, but you might wanna take things easier."

Bullshit, sex is all the way out the fuckin picture. I ain't risking another scare like this again.

I bent down kissing Chanel as she wiped her eyes. "I promised myself I wasn't gonna be scared my whole pregnancy, but shit like this-" She got quiet and begin getting choked up again.

I sighed nodding in understanding.

"So do you guys know what you are having?" The nurse asked.

"Not yet." Chanel answered.

"Would you like to know?"

"Yeah." I answer.

"Looks like a boy." She said pointing at the screen for us to look.

"Awh." Chanel said. "Even tho I wanted a girl I'm happy. Watch that bitch Karma have a girl since she wanted a boy."

I sat on the corner of the bed watching Chanel sleep. I sighed looking down at her stomach thanking God for her and my little man being okay.

I placed my head in my hands. I don't know what I would've done if we would lose our second baby and I was the cause of it.

"Kody." I heard Chanel's soft voice before she grabbed my hand rubbing it then placing it on her stomach as he kicked. "Don't beat ya self up we're fine."

"But what if-"

"Remember what you and your mom told me? Stop thinking about the what ifs, there are no what ifs." I swallowed the lump in my throat nodding.

"Nelly you okay?" Jaden whispered peeking into the door.

She smiled. "Yeah, come here." He walked in with Kaine behind him.

"Be careful." I said as he crawled into the bed next to Chanel.

"He's fine Kody." She said.

"So y'all coo?" Kaine asked.

"Yeah, they're good." I answer watching her and Jaden talk.

We look towards the door as we here the front door slam. "Chanel guess what!?"

"Auntie Karma so loud."

"Tell her to shut up." Kaine says sitting on the bed.

"Nope." Jaden says taken Chanel's phone.

"Y'all didn't hear me?" Karma asked as she entered the room, all pregnant. "Wait, what's wrong? Something's off."

"We had a scare today, but we're fine." I said.

"What kind of scare?" She asks slowly. "Don't play with my fuckin heart don't say the baby. I'm too pregnant and emotional for this."

"We're fine Karma. I had light bleeding from," Chanel stopped and looked at Jaden who was watching her talk. "Something, but everything is okay."

"Okay lets move on from the sad scary feelings before I get emotional again." Chanel said. "We found out what we're having today."

"What!?" Karma and Jaden asked all hype making us laugh.

"Well, Jaden is gonna have a little brother."

"Yes!" He jumps up. "We gonna be close just like dad and uncle Kaine."

"Awh." Chanel said. I grinned shaking my head.

"Guess what I'm having?" Karma asked.

"A boy." Kaine guessed.

"A girl." She whined. "I'm happy, but I don't need another spoiled ass me. I put y'all through hell with my spoiled ways."

"Damn sure did." I mumbled making her slap my head.

"Chill lil girl. What Bc say?"

"He gonna spoil her, what else?" She rolled her eyes.

"You coo bro?" Kaine asks elbowing my arm as I started to tune them out just staring.

"Yeah," I sighed. "I am now."
