Days passed and Jungkook was becoming stronger each passing day. It would take weeks to get back to where someone normal would be but being an alpha werewolf well— Jungkook was pretty much healthy as ever after the fourth day. Taehyung was very thankful for that. After making the herbal tea and some wild meat that Wonho gave him for Jungkook, the boy headed towards the room.

Jungkook was asleep peacefully. Over those couple days of being with Jungkook, Taehyung loved waking up next to Jungkook. Waking up in his arms all safe and snug. Never did he think cuddling with someone would make him feel such a way. Taehyung placed the cooking next to the bed before climbing into bed as well. Rolling over Jungkook who groaned.

Chuckling, Taehyung wrapped his leg over Jungkook who placed his hand on Taehyung's thigh and looked at the boy with a mean face due to just waking up from being squished. "Herbal tea and some.. wild meat that Wonho doesn't want to tell me what is it." Taehyung pouted slightly. Facial expression changed from Jungkook as he smiled, removing Taehyung's leg to lay on top of Taehyung.

"I love you." Jungkook sighed out, wrapping his arm around Taehyung the best he could. The sudden three words catching Taehyung off guard as he looked down at Jungkook who rested his head on Taehyung's chest. "I— ain't you suppose to like.. you know, say that when we're mates? I mean like, we're not mates, yet." Taehyung added 'yet' with a mumble.

Jungkook lifted his head, furrowing his eyebrows as he thought about it. Shaking his head, Jungkook hummed. "Me loving you has nothing to do with mates and bonds. Me loving you is coming from me as a whole. As a human, a werewolf, whatever you want to call me. I love you." Jungkook nuzzled his nose against Taehyung's nose.

Taehyung felt his heart warm up with all the tingly feelings within. Rejection was still there but they both pushed aside their wolfs. Focusing on their real feelings now and not just the forced ones. Not that they were forced but Taehyung was very, very happy to figure out what he really felt for Jungkook. "Let me mate you." those words caught Taehyung off guard, again.

Jungkook stared up at Taehyung who had his eyes widened. Smiling lightly, Jungkook brushed back Taehyung's hair. Meanwhile Taehyung was having a conflict between himself. "Your heat will be coming and since I didn't experience my rut yet, that too will be coming. I don't want to hold back like last time but I also don't want our first time to be directly off because we're horny bastards." Jungkook scoffed.

That caused Taehyung to crack a smile before it was gone within seconds. "We don't even have to live here you know? If you really want, we could live out in the city. Just like normal people.. but with a twist because I really want to breed you with my pups.. but that's your decision too!" Jungkook got scared by asking for pups so suddenly so he tried to tell Taehyung that he had a choice if he wanted to carry Jungkook's pups.

Taehyung tilted his head while looking at Jungkook. He would really love to be mates with Jungkook really. Now that he looked at the life he would hold with Jungkook, he wouldn't mind that one bit. It made him feel excited for what the future held for them but— at last, he couldn't. The chip was the problem. Closing his eyes, Taehyung sighed.

There was a reason why his father put a chip into him. Easily he could ask to take it out but in all honesty. He was scared, Taehyung was scared for what would come to harm him if he did. It was beyond Jungkook's power to save Taehyung right? This chip would keep him safe and unmated by the cruel people who would soon hear about him.

"I would love too.." Taehyung opened his eyes to look at Jungkook who was breaking a huge smile that was soon crushed. "But I can't." Taehyung gulped as Jungkook's facial expression changed from those words. "I can't because.. if you mated me.. Jungkook, you would die. I'm like a disease almost if you would say." Taehyung managed to crack a small chuckle.

In confusion, Jungkook sat up from the bed. "What do you mean by that? A disease." Jungkook scoffed as Taehyung sat up and grabbed at Jungkook's hands. "My father, Korain is still alive." Taehyung admitted to Jungkook although he didn't know that the whole pack knew already. Jungkook's eyes widened due to the shock. "There.. there is a lot of things wrong with me and I don't know where to start." Taehyung sighed.

"My mother, the luna. She was powerful right? But so was my dad. Being immune to silver and all. I.. I still don't know myself. I have my mothers traits but I could also have my fathers. Due to that— I'm in danger to whoever out there finds out and tries to come find me. If they get a hold of me—" Taehyung looked up at Jungkook who shook his head and squeezed at his hand.

"No one is going to touch you. Not with me around, not ever." Jungkook tone dropped to where it sounded very manly and all from his voice when he is usually talking which would be giggly— at least when he was with Taehyung. "And I know I may not always be side by side with you but thats what mating is for. We can communicate even without being side by side. Let me be your..." Jungkook tried to think of a word.

Slowly Taehyung smiled. "Guardian Angel." He suddenly added as Jungkook moved his gaze to Taehyung and slowly cracked a smile before giving a nod. "Yes. Let me be your guardian angel." He chuckled lightly, cupping Taehyung's one cheek. Caressing the cheek, Jungkook bit on his lip. "But i'm not going to force you. If whatever this disease thing is makes you feel safe, then okay, keep it for as long as you please."

Taehyung thought over Jungkook's words before he chuckled from hearing 'disease' even though it was his wording of himself. "Sweetpea." Taehyung breathed out, looking back at their hands. "Smells heavenly but is.."

"Poisonous." Jungkook finished off with Taehyung who nodded slowly. "Explains why I couldn't put a finger on your scent. Always smelled so heavenly but, what about you makes yourself poisonous?" Jungkook asked with a head tilt, making Taehyung look up at him by tilting the boys head up. Taehyung stayed quiet for a moment before he spoke up.

"When I was born, my parents made a decision to put a chip into me. A chip that releases the toxins of the flower into my system. It only does so when i'm off the pills so.. as we speak right now, the toxins are running through my body. If someone were to mate me, they would die. If I were to take it out then.. anyone could mate me. Though I don't know the whole story, yet. I plan to ask my father so I know all the risks when I decide to take this chip out."

Jungkook was confused yet shocked at the wording before the taking the chip out topic. So his father did this to keep him safe? So no one could mate him. It was understandable almost— considering the attack on the pack because of Taehyung's birth. Taehyung must be pretty fucking valuable if there were dozens on dozens of wolves attacking the pack all at once. Yet Taehyung was willing to remove the chip for him. Not for anyone but for him, Jeon Jungkook and he should be happy right? Right?
