Happy Early Birthday Sweeties

"Christina, Christopher wake up." their mom whispered while smiling. "Happy early birthday sweeties." If you hadn't guessed it by now, then Christina and Christopher are twins. Both born 14 years ago. Their birthday was actually tomorrow but they always get their presents in the morning the day before so the next day can be spent doing stuff outside the house.

"Mom can I sleep a little longer?" Christopher asked with his eyes barely open.

"No Chris I already made you guys breakfast. It's gonna get cold if you wait too long." his mom said.

"Pfft Chris your so lazy." Christina said while rubbing her eyes.

Christina then jumped out of bed followed by a stretch and yawn. It took Christopher a minute or two but he got out of bed too and went down the stairs with Christina and his mom. They went down the stairs with the smell of bacon, pancakes and eggs getting stronger as they stepped down the stairs.

"Mm it smells good." Christopher said.

"What else do you expect from me?" their mom asked arrogantly.

"Mom after we're done eating can me and Chris go biking with our friends?" Christina asked.

"It's Chris and I not me and Chris." Christopher corrected.

"Thanks for your very necessary comment Chris." Christina said sarcastically.

"Which friends are trying to bike with Christina?" their mom asked.

"Brian and Sofia."

"Oh ok, that's fine."

The twins were always together. They are great siblings as well as best friends. Four years ago they met a boy named Brian and he became good friends with the twins very quickly. The three of them would always have sleepovers and play videogames all night. When they were 12 years old when they met Sofia who also joined the group fairly quickly. There was something about Sofia and Brian that the twins really liked. They were all similar in a way which made them friends in the first place.

After they finished eating they called Brian and Sofia.

"Happy birthday!" Brian and Sofia exclaimed.

"Thanks" Christopher said.

"Thank you" Christina said.

"Our mom said we can go biking in a little bit."

"Cool, that sounds fun." Sofia said.

"That sounds like a rematch of our race Chris." Brian said.

"Yep, and your gonna lose again." Chris said.

"That wasn't fair my knee was hurt."

"Excuses."

"Whatever, just wait I'll win."

"Sofia, boys are so competitive. Why can't they be like us? Cool..." Christina snickered.

"Calm..." Sofia continued.

"And collective." Christina finished. They both laughed at that silly phrase.

"Tsk shut up. I'm sure you girls have done the same thing." Brian said.

"Ok I'm gonna go, see you in a little bit." Christopher said.

"Ok, bye." Brian said.

"Bye." Sofia said.

"See ya later." Christina said.
