I want your heart to drop into your stomach
And I want you to feel hot tears roll down your cheeks.
I want you to shake like I did,
Until you are numb from the pain.
I want you to be in the middle of your favorite things when that rush of sadness hits you and you turn away and clench your teeth and blink furiously hoping tears won't well in your eyes.
I want for you to still feel empty for days, weeks, months later.
I want you to know the pain your selfishness has caused me.
