I was suddenly blinded by the light. I focused my eyesight again and I was in the the back seat of a car we were driving along a road with a large pond next to it. I looked into the front seat to see my mother and father. My mother was reading a book, what was it again? It was probably a mystery romance story. She always loved those. Dad had one hand on the wheel and one hand on mom's shoulder. I looked next to me to see Mars drawing something in his sketchbook. His glasses were sliding down his nose as he drew so he pushed them back up. His hair was always messy when he was more younger. I always thought it looked funny that way. Everything was ok. I closed my eyes to take a short nap then suddenly the car jolted and my eyes opened. I twisted my head to look over to the window and everything was spinning around us. We were spinning out of control. The pond was getting closer and closer. Mars threw his sketchbook away and unbuckled his and my seatbelt. Then we were underwater. He had taken out the thing you rested your head on behind him and plunged the metal part into the window. He looked over to mom and dad and dad said, "Go ahead we'll be right behind you." He was wrong. Mars pushed the headrest down and the glass shattered and water poured into the car rapidly. He grabbed me and we swam out the window. We swam up and resurfaced. We swam back to shore and waited for mom and dad. That was the last memory I had of them.

I was taken out of my sudden flashback to Finn touching my shoulder. I realized my face was wet and it wasn't from the rain outside. I wiped my face off.
"What do you mean Mars is gone?" He said puzzled.
I pulled out Mars's broken and slightly stained with dried blood glasses.
"Something horrible happened to him. I don't know what to do." I felt tears wanting to come back once again but I forced them back. I can't find him if I lose my hope. Finn took the glasses and examined them.
"Oh god...."
"I accidentally stepped on them." I said.
"Oh. But still the blood isn't a good sign. At all." Finn pulled his phone out and dialed a three digit number. He said what was happening and after a bit he hung up. He looked at me and said, "Police are on their way ok?"
I nodded and looked at the ground and reached up and held my key necklace in my hand. I really hope he isn't in horrible condition.
"Look let's just wait till the police get hear then we'll discuss everything." He attempted to comfort me. It worked a little bit I still was dazing at the ground. "Hey," He said, "Everything will be ok. I'll be here with you and we will find Mars."
I looked at him and nodded. I can't lose hope because the more discourage, the less of a chance Mars will be ok.
