michael.
"Michael, Michael, Michael!!" I groan, slapping the air in attempt to get rid of the sound.
"Michael!" My name is drawled out and soon a cushion is violently hitting my face.
"What?" I grumble, grabbing the cushion.
"Guess what? Guess what? Guess what?!"
"What could possibly be more important than my sleep, Sofie?" I mumblr, wiping my eyes and sitting up.
"The 1975 are in Australia. Like, right now!" She squealed, slapping the duvet numerous times.
"Wait, did you not go home last night?" I ask her in confusion. I'm sure I remember hugging her goodbye.
Jesus, that was a good hug.
"Yeah, but I took the spare key because you said I could, remember?"
"I did?" I ask, knowing full well I did.
"Yeah, you said, in case I ever needed to stay again, or to just grab food."
"As long as you make me food." I grin at her.
"That wasn't part of the deal!"
"It is now." I grin.
"If you don't mind waking up to see your kitchen on fire, go ahead." Sofie shrugged.
"As long as I get breakfast, now go make me food, bïtch." I grin, causing her to frown.
"Sorry, I'm the guest." She sassily remarked, resting her hand on her hip.
"I'm in bed!" I whined loudly, childishly hitting the bed. Before I could stop, Sofie had leaped into the bed, kicking off her shoes and shoving me onto the ground in a heap of pillows and a duvet.
"Now I'm in bed and you owe me breakfast." She sticks her tongue out at me childishly, causing me to huff, a small smile creeping onto my face.
"How about we go out for breakfast seeming as we're both lazy as fùck." I laugh, causing her to nod after throwing her head back in laughter.
-*-
We were soon sat at a small, cute cafe, munching on chocolate croissants and sipping onto scalding hot coffees. A small game of footsie turned out to be much more compeitive and Sofie ended up flicking flaky crumbs at me and laughing when they got caught in my hair.
"I have work in an hour." Sofie grumbled, peering at her phone screen.
"Fun." I tease, causing her to flick yet another few crumbs into my hair.
"Ashton will be there, I'll be fine."
"You're close?" I ask, my fist clenching around my coffee.
"Yeah, he's really sweet." She smiles.
"He is?" I ask rhetorically, laughing bitterly.
"Are you okay?" Sofie asked, her eyes widening.
"I'm fine, we should probably go, I'll drop you off at your apartment." She thanked me quietly for the breakfast before we're soon in the car, an awkward silence looming over the both of us.
"Thanks for the breakfast, and the lift. Bye." She is quick to leave the car, the door slamming shut as I watch her speed walk into her apartment complex.
I drive back home, deciding on spending the rest of the night on Netflix. I decide to go on twitter for a bit, scrolling through the feed and noticing other people getting The 1975 tickets. I soon find myself on my laptop and buying two tickets...
To: Sofie

From: Michael
To: Michaelim with ashton sorry, maybe tomorrow?
From: Sofie
I sigh in frustration, grumbling profanities. I text back a short response telling her it didn't matter anymore, locking my phone and returning back to Neflix and watching the action that ended with a shít ending and causing me to shut off the tv and go to bed. I groan on the bed, the smell fo Sofie strong and I find myself changing the covers and sleeping once more on clean, non-Sofie-smelling sheets. I toss and turn and I soon find myself shuffling to get the Sofie-smelling sheets and placing them back onto my duvet and wrapping myself with them and inhaling her smell.Shït man, you're absolutely, positively whipped.
Shít.
