"Aye put that shit down!" I yelled at the two kids I was babysitting. I shook my head at them. Bad ass kids.
I sat on the couch waiting for my brother to come to pick up his bad ass kids. My brother was a publisher who wrote books.
He was dealing with that chick Emily. She also did publishing. Shit must be nice my ass single.
"Give me that damn screwdriver!" I told the kid, Jonah, he be pissing me off.
He gave it to me just when I heard a knock on the door. I checked the time and it was 5 which means that should be my brother.
I opened the door and it was his ass. "Good get yo fucking kids bro." I said to him making him chuckle.
The kids ran in screaming "daddy" like they innocent or sum. Shaking my damn head.
"Aye man I got a question for you." My brother, AJ, said. I gave him a look telling him to go on.
"So it's this publishing party that I want you to go to with me." He started. "Emily is my date.." He said
"Nah man that's not really my scene and plus ion have no date." I told him. And I wasn't lying being front of all this white folk and I'm darkskin shit I standout. Yuh I be damned.
"Man come on bro just this once." He slightly begged. I shook my head "I'll think about it Ight." He nodded and called for the kids.
After they left I decided to hit it up my manger and see if I got any new gigs. I got this modeling career going on for myself. Ion do that weird shit like posing in my underwear but I would look good. Just saying.
"Hello" my manger,Francisco, answered. "Aye book me sum I'm bored" I told him and he chuckled.
"Okay I'll see what I can do. I'll call you later." He said then hung up. I sighed I'm really bored.
Maybe I should take my brother up in that offer. Or maybe not I might be more bored there than I am now.
"I NEED A GIRL!" I yelled out then bust out laughing because of the white people upstairs beating on they floor with a broom.
My phone started ringing and when I looked at it was my annoying ass ex. Briana. I rolled my eyes.
Me and briana was together for 2 years but she cheated. I thought she was my first love buh Nah she was my first attachment.
I answered just because I'm bored. "What the fuck you want." I said aggravated.
"Why you been ignoring me?" She said softly completely ignoring my tone.
"Bye." I said. She ain't never got nothing to say.
"Fuck it" I said out loud and started to call up my brother.
