Annie had a good nights sleep after she'd managed to get rid of her bad head. Overall she had about 8 hours sleep but that was better then normal. Her mother used to wake her up in the middle of the night when she got home from clubbing and partying. But this time she didn't. Annie walked to the bathroom and rinsed her face with water to wake herself up, her eye makeup ran down her face as she had got it wet. She didn't realise that she had any on, she must of forgotten to take it off. She was so tired last night and kind of freaked out about the whole coffee incident. She still hadn't worked it out but just stopped thinking about it.

Downstairs Annie went to make a coffee as she had a hard time waking up. This time she added three sugers as coffee was bitter. She looked around the living room and kitchen and saw clothes all over everything. There was a top over the arm chair and a pair of high heels on the sofa. Sam must of stayed round she thought, or maybe it was that mystery coffee drinker? No that's unlikely. Her mother stomped down the stairs and looked rough, she had smudged make up and was wearing a massive shirt. It must of been Sam's. She took Annie's coffee out of her hand then walked back upstairs. Thanks then Annie said loudly to make sure that her mother could hear. She heard no reply.

She cleaned all the clothes of the sofa and folded them in to two piles. One for Sam and one for Nicole. Then she began to watch some television. The good thing about Annie and her mothers house is the fact that she had two bathrooms. One on the bottom floor and one on the top floor. She got up to go to the bathroom but the door on the downstairs toilet was shut. She didn't want to take any chances as there were no locks on the doors. Sam could have been in there for all she knew! So she walked upstairs to the other toilet. On the way to the bathroom she passed her mothers room. She could hear her and Sam talking so she knew that the downstairs toilet was free. She was upstairs now so there was no point in going back downstairs. As she made her way to the bathroom she heard noises coming from downstairs. She didn't think anything of it so grabbed the door handle and began to enter the bathroom. She heard a noise again. It definitely wasn't Nicole and Sam as she could still hear them talking. She peered down the stairs and saw a shadow. Her heart was racing and she didn't know what to do!

So she crept downstairs and looked around the living room. There was nothing unusual. She then looked at the bathroom again and no one was in there. She then heard her name being called repeatedly. She ran into the kitchen to see nothing but a bowl rolling on its side and a spoon on the worktop. Annie knew that there was someone in the house so she looked outside but couldn't see anyone. At this moment in time her mother and Sam walked down the stairs. Annie hugged her mother told her about what happened but her mother said that it was her mind playing tricks on her. She didn't really seem to care that much about the whole thing. But Annie was terrified!

She stomped up the stairs and had a shower. While her mother and Sam were sat downstairs chilling on the sofa. When she got out of the shower she text her friends asking if they wanted to meet up later in the afternoon. She only text Lucy and Sophie as they were the most understanding out of all her friends and she needed someone to talk to. She put on a black vest top and a pair of jeans then headed of after putting her hair up in a loose ponytail. She was only going to a cafe in town with them but she just really needed to see them.

They were on half term from school this week and because they are from a private school they got three weeks off instead of one. It was now a Thursday during the first week.

When Annie got there hugged Lucy then Sophie. Then she began to tell them about the weird things that have been happening. She told them about the coffee and then about the bathroom and about the shadow and also how her mother didn't believe her. Her friends were gobsmacked about it all. Especially how her mother didn't believe her! They had cake at the cafe. Annie had a peach iced tea and a chocolate cake and Lucy and Sophie both had tea and Victoria sponge. After that they all went home after arranging to meet up again next week.

When Annie got home Sam had left and her mother was sober. Nicole welcomed Annie home and kissed her on her forehead. Her mother was being really nice all of a sudden, maybe something had happened with Sam. Annie asked her mother if everything was ok with Sam. Nicole took a long time till she replied. Eventually she said that everything was ok and that her and Sam were great. Just as Annie was about to get up to get a drink her mother told her that she had some news to tell her. All Annie thought in her head was that her mother was pregnant. Nicole told Annie that her and Sam had been really good recently and that they both really love each other. Then she went on to tell Annie that they were getting married. Annie ran upstairs and sat on her bed crying. She heard her mother ring Sam and tell him about her reaction. She was about to go and run out of the house and go for a walk to clear her head when she heard her name. She looked round her room but she couldn't see anyone. Then she heard various other things about her mother and Sam's relationship. She was so confused she left the house and walked down the lane by her house. The voices seemed to go away. But how long would they be gone for?
