Kara's pov
"What's with all the bad guys these days?! It's like we can't get a break!" I say walking in the deo with Barry, Alex, and j'onn
"I don't know but we will find out" J'onn says
"I hope so, because I want to take my girlfriend on a date" Barry says pulling me close and kissing me
"Take that pda somewhere else love birds" Alex says breaking us apart
"Fine, Kara lets go somewhere where we're both wanted" he responds and takes my hand and leaves.
J'onns pov
"Have you told them yet?" I ask Alex
"Not yet. Look how happy they are, I can't ruin that" she responds putting her hands on her hips.
"Alex, their going to find out soon" I say with my arms crossed
"Find out what?" We turn to see barry and Kara come back
"Nothing!" Alex says
"It doesn't seem like it's nothing. It seems pretty serious" Barry responds with a confused look
"Alex I think it's time. It involves them and we can't keep it any longer" I say to her
"Fine, on a mission, me and J'onn found something" she pauses for a second
"We found that 2 bad guys are after you" she says
"So? We've deal with bad guys every day. What makes this different?" Barry asks
"These aren't just your normal bad guys. Their powerful. Ones a speedster like you barry. He seems way faster then you. The other one is a like you kara, but evil. They call her reign. The speedster we don't know his name yet" Alex says looking down "I didn't want to tell you because I know you'd go after them the second you hear about them. These people are powerful and I didn't want you to get hurt."
"How long? How long have you known" Kara asks
"A couple months, Kara I'm-" Alex starts to say but gets interrupted
"You thought it was a good idea to keep this from me? From us? This is our city, if someone is a threat to it we deserve to know!" Kara says starting to get angry
"I know! I should've told you! But you were so happy! I couldn't take that away. I thought the deo would find a way to defeat ourselves. But now I realize only you both can defeat them" Alex try's to calm her down while tears are threatening to fall
"What if they came and attacked all of sudden? I wouldn't have been prepared, I would lose. Barry would lose. Then I would've lost my city and the people I care about! That far out ways my happiness! The city and the people in it are far more important than my happiness!" Kara gets angry and walks away.
"I'll talk to her" barry says walking away as well.
I turn to see Alex crying with her hands over her eyes so no one can see her cry. "I messed up everything" she lets out a sob as she leaves the room.
Barry's pov
I walk into a room just in time to see kara punch a wall.
"You okay?" I ask
"Yea I'm fine!" She says sitting down on a bench
"I know you're not fine. You want to talk about it?" I ask walking towards her and sitting by her side.
"I've been lied to so many times, i got used to it, I just never expected it to be from my sister. The girl I grew up with, the one who accepted me when I first came to this planet. What has the world come to when a friend or family has been lying to you? It feels like everything is falling apart" she says looking down
"I understand, I get it. It's going to take a while for you to forgive her because eventually you will forgive her. You always do, I mean you're the danver sisters. You're inseparable. You have to start looking at her side of the story. She just wanted to protect you, and keep you happy. Your happiness means to the world to her. It also means the world to me. I hate seeing you this upset and sad. Now stop being all grumpy and help me find where these bad guys are located and we'll beat thier ass!" I explain with a smile
"Yea I guess you're right" she says as she lays her head on my shoulder. "I love you barry allen"
"I love you too kara danvers, or Kara Zor el. Witch is your alien name, because you're an alien. Witch I think is very cool" I say as I hear her laugh.
"I never told you how much I love your laugh" I smile while looking down at her
"I love everything about you kara" I say while putting my arm around her shoulder.
