Aaliyah POV Dave went to go check on the kids and talked them something to eat to his mama house and tell them what's going. And to get us some clothes
I watched mari sleep with the IV hooked up to him. It's been a hour or so since we been in the room.
I'm so glad i own my own business, because i would be fired from any other job, I'm not leaving my son side unless there is something wrong with my other children.
"I bought you some food baby" Dave said putting the bags down
"Thank you" i said
"Have they came back in here yet" he said
"Not since they came and gave him that medicine" i said
"You wanna go home and get some rest?" He asked me pulling me into his lap
"No I'm okay" i said laying my head on his chest
"Dada , mommy" i heard mari say making get up off Dave lap
"Yeah son" Dave said we was now standing on the side of his bed
"I Dirsty" he said
"Okay" i said giving him some of my water i had
After he was done i went to sit back in Dave lap
"Kairi almost started crying cause she wanted to come up here and check on her baby brother" Dave chuckled
"She always act like she his mama" i said rolling my eyes
"Yeah i hate to see when girls try to talk to Ny and Mari when they get older Kai gone be at they head, she already hate to see people she don't know touch them" Dave said shaking his head
"Right, but don't no girls need to be talking to them anyways" i said
"See look at you, Kai get it from you" Dave said shaking his head
Mari was watching paw patrol in his own world
"How you feeling Mari" i asked him
"I otay" he said
"You hungry"
"Yup" he said i guess that medicine they gave him got him feeling better, we gone see if he can hold something down
I got up to give him some off my fries, i wanna start off light
All of a sudden nurses and a doctor rushed in looking worried.
"We was looking over Jamarion's chart and he needs to go into immediate surgery!! He needs some of his colon removed ASAP!!" The doctor said
After he said that i just bust out crying. My baby needed surgery
The nurses started prepping him for the surgery and when they was done the began to wheel him out making him cry. Me and Dave immediately rushed to his side
"It's okay big boy. You gone go with the nice pretty ladies , take a good long nap then you'll be back with mommy and daddy" i said running his okay
"Otay mommy" he said
After he said that they wheeled him down the hall.
"He's going to be okay" Dave said grabbing me
We went back into Mari room and sat down and watched tv until the surgery was over.
About an hour later Dave's mom and the kids came up here to see mari.
I had Ava in my arms she looked so cute with her pink onesie and her white bow.
When i snapped her picture it looked like she was waving

We sat around for like two hours just waiting on mari to come back in, he finally came in and he was sleeping
"The surgery went well , he should be up in a couple minutes. So after he heal he should be good but if you see any signs of him complaining about his stomach you come back immediately" he said
"Oh and another thing that had his colon inflamed really bad was because he have a stomach disease that's called Crohn's disease, the nurse is going to give you papers on it. You can read over it and see how to treat it if he have a flare up and how to prevent a flare up. Do you have any questions?" He said
"So how long does it take for him to heal and should we avoid anything" i asked
"It'll take about 6 weeks for him to heal and you should avoid any stretching , don't let him pick up anything or bind down , he could rip his stitches. And you'll come back in a couple weeks to get them removed" he said
"Okay how do i clean his stitches" i asked again
"You have a choice to be taught how to clean it or a home health nurse will come by and clean them for you" he said
"I'll learn how to clean them myself" i said
"Okay a nurse will come and teach you how to do it. He'll be in the hospital for three days so they'll be in here sometime before then to show you. Do you have any more questions?"he said
"No sir" i said
"Okay if you do be sure to ask" he said leaving out the room
Right when he left out the room mari started waking up. He looked around the room and looked like he was about to cry until his eyes landed on me and his daddy.
"Hey buddy, how you feeling?" I asked
"Belly" he said pointing to his belly
"Yeah son it's going to hurt for a while but it'll stop hurting soon" i kissed his cheek
Once he woke up fully , i could tell he was feeling a lot better. They came and gave him some medicine so he won't feel anything
