“The ideal world has come at last, Darling. Look!” he shouts to her in excitement.
His clean executive cut dark hair now a riving mess from the wind as fire and brimstone rise from the once known Earth. Darling standing in shock inside as her stepfather grins. She remains speechless as she looks at her raving lunatic of a step father, as she steps back now realizing he has brought upon a new apocalypse to this world. With her red high heels she rolls a silver challis ▬ reverting his attention back to her.
“Darling, what’s wrong?” he asks like he was talking to a child with a skid knee, “This is what we both wanted, what we both needed,”
“You’re lying, I never asked for anything for that last 10 years, father. What made you think I wanted this!” she shouted.
Her stepfather now able to understand her for the first time, her voice sounded as golden and feminine even in her native tongue. He then walks to her with the speed of a moving car at twenty five miles per hour. Darling steps back expecting him to run to her by accident, but it looks as though he too was in shock in how fast he moved.
“So, this is the power of the Red Phoenix?” he asks.
“No,” frowning at his arrogance, “The Power of the Red Phoenix cannot be obtained by making a wish from a Grey God.”
“How so Darling, all I have asked from Lytle was the power to understand you and nothing else,” he explains controlling his balance and making baby steps towards her.
As he gets closer, the door, to his living room, explodes with convicted felons and mental patients as they all try to seek revenge for the testing they went before he got his wish. One female convict named Sasha grabs Darling by the throat and tosses her out the hundred and fifty story window, the last thing she saw was her step father fighting off the mob knowing that Darling will not fall to her death, but being overwhelmed by the mob has left him dragged away to the only place where his father refined crystal shards to make his business pens.
Darling reaching terminal velocity, she manages to compose herself to land. Her landing creates an ocean wave of asphalt to buckle from under and around her. The people watching her from the sidewalks only know that they are feeling ten times stronger and healthier as his step father promised when he began to rise above all medical facilities even Talon Enterprise couldn’t compete with the bio-engineering and the prosthetics they offered for a modest price. The tech was beyond top notch when it came to Demon 9th’s technology. Good as The Real Thing But, Better. The company name like demon, the founder was better off making the deal with the devil himself when Darling arrives, to watch her father dangle like a worm on a hook above the stone grinder. The convicts already done away with the stray patients those who were not in the grinder was her Father and the ones that have decided to run away when they realized they are free.
Darling’s stepfather being held hostage by one convict, no one knows his real name, the doctors called him Ten since he was the only patient who actually volunteered for all ten tests that should have killed him. His face melted away from the chemical burns he went through, wearing a guard hat to conceal his lack of hair.
“Little girl, let me show you what your daddy put use through,” a growly demonic voice echoed.
Ten’s voice has echoed over the stone grinder’s noise. He demonstrates with the crystals what Darling’s Stepfather will be going through when they are done turning to fine dust. Booming with laughter, Ten has then realized that Darling had disappeared across from him. With an iron rod, impaled from behind, a smoldering ash consumes his body as it fills him with embers and soot. Darling dropping the rod and maintaining control of her stepfather in her hands.
