Why does it have to be so complicated?

" hey I'm nash" a voice said from behind me " I'm Alyssa , and can I just say I love magcon" "thnx I get that a lot" nash says staring at me his blue eyes sparkling like they were going into mine. When I looked up from my text book minutes later I saw nash still staring at me I could feel my face get hot and my cheeks turn rosey red . "What are you staring at?" I asked Nash with a slight Giggle to my voice " you " he said making me blush even more " why?" "Because your beautiful " I stared into his blue eyes crystal clear like a ocean breeze .umm hello? I heard from my left oh my gosh! I totally forgot about matt oh jeeze he looks pissed. "Oh hey sorry matt" I said staring into his perfect hazel eyes not looking away in complete awe of his cuteness. " so um Alyssa I was wondering would you like to come back to me and cams place after school? We're having a party , matt will be there too!" Nash's from broke the silence between us -between me and matt- matts smile slowly turned into a frown as Nash spoke every word intently " sure I would love to come !" I said a little bit too high pitched
I took out a peiceof paper and scribbled down some words to matt
{what's wrong} I handed the paper to matt our fingers slightly touching

I can't believe it Alyssa has already picked Nash and I didn't even try ?? How I thought to myself . A white piece of lined paper fell onto my lap { why so sad} from Alyssa I could tell { it's nothing just that U have already chosen Nash and I didn't even get a chance} I hand the paper back to her regretting what I just wrote , our fingers touching slightly as I did

I read the words matt wrote silently and slowly through my head ..{ it's nothing just that U already picked Nash and I haven't even gotten a chance} my heart shattered as I read this Matt likes me¿ I thought to myself I couldn't even tell, there were some signs but I'm a fan he's a celebrity that's how things work but Matt Espinosa actually liked me ... Wow I thought to myself just wow
I took out my black pen from my pocket and wrote a few more words { I never said I chose Nash u still have a chance 💚} I wrote regretting the heart sense Nash was looking over my shoulder I could tell. I passed Matt the note our fingers touching slightly leaving a vibe through my body . I watched matt as he read it a smile spread across his face and it was too me. I looked back at Nash his expression was low and sad and he was looking down . What have I done? I think to myself ¿ why does life have to be so complicated ¿
