Chapter 22: Back At It Again With Being A Complete Jerk

Everyone backs away in surprise, Kokichi? He's skedaddled knowing Maki will be out to get him soon enough. Maki and Kaito were covered in frosting, both shocked by what just transpired. After a moment of the shock that set in Kaito looked in the cake where a message on a piece of paper was Kaito picked it up as Maki was still standing there. Kaito read the message out loud. "Nishishi! You didn't expect that did ya? It was all like boom!" Kaito crumbled up the piece of paper "Kokichi..." He mutters. Maki was gripping the knife with murder screaming in her red eyes, oh god oh fuck. Everyone else was relatively unharmed by except a few flecks of icing and cake they seemed fine. But Maki was practically vibrating in anger, I mean this was the one day she wanted to enjoy herself without having to kill anyone and this happens, on her wedding day no less!

Needless to say she was pissed. Miu looks at Maki, noticing she was vibrating she grins a little "Maki is vibrating! Seem familiar to any of you ladies?" She laughs, but it seemed forced. She was trying to cheer people up but it had the opposite effect. Maki whipped her head around at Miu, knife out she glared at her. Miu squeaks and holds up her hands "H-h-hey! I-i was only trying to l-lighten the mood!" Maki turns back to the ruined cake and looks down at the floor. Kaito wipes some frosting off of Maki's forehead then licks it from his finger "Hmmm... Tastes fine to me" Maki looked up at Kaito, who was trying not to laugh, whew crisis averted, thank you Kaito. "Is it really?" Maki asked placing the knife on the table she scoops a bit of icing from Kaito's tux with her finger popping it in her mouth she licks her lips and tilts her head tasting it. "You're right, it tastes fine" Everyone heaves a sigh of relief as Maki seemed to not be mad.

Maki turns to the others "Any other day I'd be absolutely fuming, but Kaito and Miu helped make the situation a bit better for me" She smiles at Miu who grins "Fuck yeah! That's not all I can do ya know!" She's about to say something sexual when Kiibo covers Miu's mouth with his hand "That's enough Miu, I don't think they would like to hear that right now" Miu pauses then looks over at Kiibo who pulls his hand away. Miu stares at her boyfriend Kiibo "If you're going to shut me up then kiss me dammit!" She shouted grabbing his face and kissing him. Poor Kiibo, caught off guard was waving his arms around helplessly.

Maki laughs and Kaito smiles at Maki "You've change Maki Roll" He commented as Miu pulled away from a beet red Kiibo. Maki looked up at him and smiles "Mainly because of you my Space Man" Kaito blushed and held her close kissing her head. "I love you Maki Roll" He murmurs. Maki had her head on his chest "I love you too Kaito" She replied with a giggle.

Meanwhile, Kokichi was in the dorms hiding in his room. "Nishishi! Part one of my plan for total takeover is complete!" He said checking off 'Ruin Maki and Kaito's wedding' on a clipboard. Kokichi tilts his head at the next thing on the list. "Put white confetti in their rocket for the gender reveal party? Hmm that'll definitely cause confusion!"

Back with Maki and the others Kirumi was almost finished cleaning up the rest of the frosting, while Kaito was sitting down with Maki in his lap who had her head on his chest. She sighs in content and looks up at her now husband "Kaito, you make me the happiest woman in the world" Kaito carefully put his hand on her for now flat belly. "And you make me the happiest man in the world." He smiles at her kissing her head.

Nearby Kaede was at the piano playing Clair De Lune softly for the after party, while Shuichi was sitting next to her just listening to his girlfriend play. He wanted to ask her something but didn't think it was the right time to do so, Shuichi sighs then looks at Kaede. "U-um... Kaede?" He asked timidly. Kaede turns to him still able to play the song. "Yes Sweetchi?" She tilts her head at him, Shuichi sighs then leans over kissing her cheek a huge blush on his face. Kaede blushes as well then rolls her eyes "If you're going to kiss me then kiss me Shuichi" She stated. Shuichi, surprised by her forwardness made a small embarrassed squeak. "A-are you sure?" He asked. Kaede sighs then stops playing getting up "Come here Shuichi" She said. Shuichi does as he's told because he's mega sub and stands in front of her. Kaede cups his face in her hands, Shuichi jumping in surprise, with leaning foward giving him a kiss on his lips.

After Kaede pulls away with a blush of her own Shuichi just stands there, they've kissed only once before and it was privately so he just stood there gaping like a fish, oop. Kaede giggles and holds his hand with a smile she leads him to the courtyard, which was decorated with red and purple banners. Other couples were dancing with each other there, Miu was being the lead as she danced with Kiibo who looked extremely awkward and out of his element. Tenko and Himiko were chatting about magic and Neo Aikido (no surprise there) off to the side. Rantaro and Kirumi were dancing with each other as well, but they looked more like a couple at a ball then two teens trying to dance with each other. Kaito and Maki after talking to each other and eating the cake were slow dancing with Maki's head on Kaito's chest, daww.

Kaede pulled Shuichi out onto the dance floor and smiled at him. "Would you like to dance with me Shuichi?" She asked. Shuichi blushed and hesitantly puts a hand on her waist holding her hand with his other while Kaede put her other hand on his shoulder. They started to dance gliding along the floor as if it was just them in their own little world. Kaede smiles at him "Hey Shuichi?" She asked looking at him Shuichi looks at her "What is it Kaede?" He replied. Kaede blushed slightly. "I... I love you Shuichi" She said and leans foward kissing his cheek. The emo detective blushes crimson at the kiss "I-i-i l-love you t-too Kaede" He stuttered a bit embarrassed.

Authors Note: I usually don't put these but this one was important. I haven't been writing on these Danganronpa stories much because I haven't had much inspiration as well as the fact my interest in Danganronpa is fading slightly and my interest in RWBY and The Arcana has surpassed my interest in Danganronpa. Plus I've been a bit busy lately so I apologize for my hiatus, hopefully this will make up for it also the "it was all like boom!" Thing was a reference to Happy Frogs voice line in FNaF: Ultimate Custom Night, lastly thanks for reading! 💞
