Chapter 23: After Party

After the party was over Tsumugi sat next to Monokuma who worked by himself apparently. Rantaro and Kirumi were nearby both trying to have a conversation. Kirumi tried to not give her opinions very often because she is the ultimate maid, but around Rantaro it was different. The green haired boy made Kirumi feel safe and comfortable, he let her be herself without having to be a maid to anyone, which she appreciated from him.

Miu was pestering Kaede and Shuichi about their sex life while Kiibo was desperately trying to get his girlfriend to leave the flustered couple alone. "Aw cmon! You sure you haven't knocked her up? Maybe Maki started a trend! Hahaha!" She laughs. Kaede frowns and stares at the strawberry blonde haired inventor. "Miu, I suggest staying quiet about Maki." Miu tilted her head "And why is that?" She asked with a grin. Suddenly someone tapped her shoulder, Kiibo gave up and sat down next to Shuichi.

Miu turned around and shrinked seeing Maki's now husband Kaito crossing his arms "I heard you talking shit about my pregnant wife" He said. "Heee!" Miu squealed immediately skedaddling behind Kiibo. Satisfied Kaito went back to Maki who was sitting nearby. He sat down next to her and kissed her head the girl blushing a bit putting her head on his shoulder daww!

Kokichi meanwhile snuck back into the party getting a death glare from Kaito as the almost child like teen went by. He was heading to Kiibo who frowned. Miu was sitting next to him now. What happened to Kaede and Shuichi you ask? They're just being wholesome at a table closer to Tsumugi and Monokuma ironically. Kaede's holding his hand as the detective was blushing a bright red.

Back to Kokichi and Kiibo the lying grape haired rat grinned at Kiibo "Hey! Hey Kiiboy!" He chirped Kiibo groaning and Miu just snickers. "What is it now Kokichi?" He asked. Kokichi has a Cheshire Cat like grin now as he asked "Do robots have dicks?" Before Kiibo could reply Miu chimed in "He does now! I built him one and even got to test it! Best co-" Before she could say anything more Kiibo covered her mouth with his hand a huge blush on his face.

Kokichi meanwhile immediately ran off shouting to the others "MIU MADE KIIBO A DICK!!" The others paid him no mind though, they knew what he was trying to do. Kiibo was extremely embarrassed though, he was steaming. Uh oh. Miu frowns and looks at Kiibo "Kiibo? Are you ok? Hellooo???" She poked the robot who replied with "hoperobo.exe has crashed." Oh-

Well we'll just leave those two alone then. The artificial sun was going down anyway. Maki smirked at Kaito and got up off his lap Kaito tilting his head confused. "Something wrong Maki Roll?" The assassin shook her head then grabbed his hand. "We're heading to bed." Is all she said as she dragged Kaito to the dorms. Of course Miu being Miu she shouted after them "No need to use a condom now Kaito! You already got her knocked up! Have fun!~" Of course the two just ignored her.

Maki lead Kaito to her dorm which was like the others but seemed more dreary. Kaito didn't notice the atmosphere change so he just grinned as Maki rolled her eyes lying down on her bed with her wedding dress on still. "I suppose this is our honeymoon?" She asked him which he blushed and shrugged with a small nod "Well, I suppose so" He replied closing her door then lying down next to his wife.

Maki stayed silent for a moment but turned to him "You know, I never thought I'd have the chance at something like this" She said with a small rare smile. Kaito raised an eyebrow at her "Really I didn't either, then I saw you. You may seem cold but I'm glad I finally got to take off your mask" Maki looks at him confused. "My... mask?" She asked.

He nods "I knew you were trying to push us away because you feared you'd hurt us. But as I suspected you do have a softer side to you" He put his hands behind his head looking up at the ceiling. "You seemed more closed off from the others which is why I tried my best to help you" Maki sighs "Only because you kept pestering me with questions and invites to hang out with you" She said with an amused look on her face.

Kaito shrugged "If I didn't pester you then you probably would be the outcast, I didn't want that to happen." Maki scooted closer to him and puts her head on his chest. Kaito took a hand out from under his head and hugged Maki. Aww! They both stayed silent for a while just enjoying each others company.

Eventually Kaito turns to Maki "Hey Maki Roll?" He asks Maki was half asleep by now because of the events today but she managed to sound not like a zombie. "What is it Kaito?" She asked. Kaito smiles and leans down kissing her forehead. "I love you Maki Roll" He said. Maki blushes red and pouts muttering a baka. "I'm your baka now" Kaito smirked. Maki just continued to pout. They ended up falling asleep in their wedding clothes.

The others went to bed Monokuma and the monokubs cleaned up Kirumi and Rantaro helped. Then Rantaro lulled Kirumi to the side. "Ah... Kirumi?" He asked. Kirumi tilts her head a little at him "Yes? Is there anything you need me to do?" She asked her usual instinct as a maid had her ask that. Rantaro frowns and sighs. "Well, um... do you want to go watch a movie or something with me tomorrow?"

Kirumi smiled and nodded "I'd love to. Now I shall retire for the day. See you tomorrow Rantaro" She kissed his cheek then walked off to her dorm. Rantaro grinned "Yes! I did it! I have a date tomorrow!" He said then skedaddled to his dorm as well.

The next morning they all met at the Dining Hall as always, Tsumugi being last. They all stopped talking and looked at her. She was the one who started the killing game which caused Ryoma to get killed. But she did stop it for Kaito and Maki. Needless to say the others were having mixed feelings.

Except for one person. "Good morning Tsumugi!" Gonta smiled at her. Tsumugi sighs and smiled back "Good morning Gonta" She replied to the gentle giant. "Tsumugi sleep well? Gonta sleep like baby!" Gonta said with a pure smile. "I slept ok I suppose" Said Tsumugi. The others were just staring at the two not sure what to say. Today was going to be odd to say the least.
