The small bell on top of the door rang, indicating you had a costumer. You left to the front and froze, as you saw the boy looking around. His eyes roamed around the whole room and finally landed on you. The corner of his lips curved upwards in a somehow devious smirk, as he rested his elbows on the counter.

"Hey Starla... So we meet again.. I believe it's fate." he stated, causing you to roll your eyes at him.

"I work for your grandma! That's not called fate, it's called stalking." you remarked, angered by his presence, which only made him laugh.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm only here to visit my grandma." he shrugged as you smiled, slightly amused by his actions.

But the sudden smile soon vanished, almost faster than it appeared, as you remembered your mind exchange of words on the roof earlier. And of course he noticed when your beautiful smile vanished from your lips, leaving your face with a small frown, causing him to stare at you more attentively.

"What's going on?" he questioned, earning a sigh from you.

"Yoongi... I already told you we can't be friends." you clarified, clearing your throat.

"Starla c'mon." he rolled his eyes, as if you had been having the same old conversation over and over again.

"You mistreated me for so long." you scoffed in admiration "How can I trust you won't do the same now? Tell me Yoongi, explain to me how am I supposed to trust you after everything?"

"Because I won't! I promise you, I won't, you're safe, Starla!" he raised his voice at you.

And maybe, if you hadn't been so deep into the argument, you would probably have flinched at his tone. But you were done. You didn't care about who he was or what power he held over you anymore. None of it seemed to matter.

"Well, I don't know that." you tried to control the anger in your tone, trying to sound as calm as possible. "Your promises mean nothing to me."

"Then let me prove you wrong. All I want is a chance..." He asked, dropping the anger aside and replacing it with a faint whisper.

"A chance of what?"

"Of showing you who I really am. The person underneath the bully you see." he moved closer, his eyes locked on your own, and grabbed both of your hands that hang on both sides of your body. "I want to be different, Starla. Let me show you I can be different."

"Why?" you questioned, completely puzzled by his actions.

"Because I regret what I've done to you." he confessed as he ruffled his fingers through his hair, pulling it back slightly in frustration. His eyes were locked on the floor, and his actions somehow made you feel bad for the boy.

"O-Okay." you gave in.

"Really?!" he looked at you, hopeful.

"Uh, yes." you nodded reluctantly.

"You won't regret it, I promise." he came closer and your heart skipped a beat. His muscular arms slowly trailed up your small figure, engulfing you in an awkward hug.

You flinched a little, used to getting hit and made fun of, being hugged by the boy who so passionately claimed to have hated you, felt really different.
He waited a couple of seconds, making sure you were okay, and as his sweet scent reached your nostrils, you allowed your body to relax, wrapping your tiny arms around his torso.
