Cages. Gigantic glass cages. Inside of the room there were about six glass cages, and they were huge! Inside of those cages were some of my closest family and best friends, along with strangers who were probably friends/family with the others. Dex, Linh, and Keefe were in the same cage, but everyone else seemed pretty scattered. Katniss exhaled a lot of heavy air when her eyes caught on a little girl and ran toward that specific cage.

"Prim! Thanks goodness you're okay!" Katniss exclaimed as their hands touched the see through wall that separated them. Percy had walked over to a cage with a group of people that were mostly girls. A girl that looked around Percy's age walked to the front of the cage, and had a few tears in her eyes. She had blonde curly hair that was in a messy ponytail, and striking storm grey eyes. My Mom and Dad were there in the same cage, but I felt myself drawn to the cage that contained Fitz after a thankful glance their way.

"I'm so glad you're alright!" I said as I neared the cage.

"Don't worry, I'm only slightly bruised and a little burnt." He replied, flashing his movie star smile at me. I felt my heart do a little flutter, but I suppressed it because I knew that he was smiling because we were safe, and not because of anything else.

"I'm okay too, don't worry about me though, Fitz is still totally emotionally traumatized." Tam said with a smirk from behind Fitz. I blushed and waved, mentally kicking myself for not seeing him.

"He missed your telepathic conversations so much that he tried to stare into my eyes across the room!" Keefe teased as I reached his enclosure. I walked over to the other cages to make sure my friends were okay, but then I realized that we probably should be freeing them.

"Okay, stand in the very centre of the glass box and cover your faces with your shirts. Dex, Linh, and Keefe, shield the others with your capes." I instructed them as I came up with a possibly safe and possibly very dangerous plan.
I concentrated hard on shattering the glass like we had learned in the Exileum, but I really focussed hard on making it shatter outward instead of inward.

crrrrrrrrraaaackkkkk! The glass shattered outward like I intended, but it also almost skeward Percy and Katniss. Harry used a spell, thank goodness, and I'd been ready to dodge, but if it wasn't for the other two's friends warnings I could've...no, it didn't happen, so don't think about what could've, because it didn't.

"Gods Sophie, maybe give us a warning next time before trying to turn us into Shish Kebab!" Percy said. I looked down at the ground that was littered with glass. Keefe rested his hand on my back and gave me a reassuring look. Harry began to cast a spell on the glass enclosure that Biana was in and then pushed a piece of glass, and surprisingly it opened like a door.

"There was a lock." The little girl said that now stood beside Katniss.

"And you couldn't have said that earlier? Any of you?!" Harry asked.

"Good point mate! Noted for next time we get thrown into a bag after being drugged and then trapped in a glass prison, too scared to fight back incase someone got hurt." A ginger haired young man said sarcastically. Harry rolled his eyes but had a smile on his face none the less. The Wizards freed everyone else from the glass prisons and we all got properly reacquainted, again. It involved a lot of hugging and a few tears too. Sadly, not everything can be perfect, meaning that we couldn't got back home and retry the whole 'live a normal-ish life'.

"Look what we have here." An all too familiar voice said from the doorway. Vespera stood in front of us, a hoard of heroes, alone. Was it really her was the question. "I hope you're all ready to lose the fight of your lives." She said with a sickening smile. Just then a rumble began to shake the ground. Something was coming, and it wasn't going to be fun.

So, how was that? I know it was shortish, but the next chapter will be really long, and if I combined all of those ideas with this chapter it would've taken me an extra week, and you all are always on my case about updating ;)
I met the due date though, so there! Also, thanks for reading to those that have been here for a year or so.... I know I'm bad a deadlines, but I'm getting better, so don't leave guys, okay? I've got surprises coming up and stuff, so ya.

GO READ MY OTHER BOOKS! I swear they're good, but the one called Smoke and Hayse is going to be really good! I know, I know, it's only got one chapter. Guess what? The next chapter has 2500 words right now and I'm only halfway done that chapter, give or take. If you like long chapters then read that book, because I have ideas coming out of my brain left and right!

Okay. Bye.
