Making plans

Cory's POV

I shot a backwards glare at Tommy as he continued complaining, the nerve of him,
"But Carl.... my legs hurt..."
"Tommy, I swear- first, My Name is Cory, not Carl. Second, I just carried an unconscious guy for what felt like two hours while putting up with your sh- no... you know what... leave it." I glared at the floor, slowly sliding down the wall into a sitting position, Tommy mirroring me on the other wall. I glared at him as Uni glanced between us nervously, it looked as if he was going to say something but he stopped himself, glancing at his side cautiously.
Tommy sighed loudly, trying to make himself known,
"Why do we have to sit out here, it's cold and boring... and kinda creepy..."

I sighed, deadpanning him as he fiddled with his mask,
"It's probably because of your stupid antics, your yelling... maybe even your overzealous jokes-"
"Cory." Uni shot me a glare, trying his best to look intimidating, "you know that's not true, it's just not a good idea to crowd around someone who just woke up, he's probably scared, and Dawn said he'd most likely have a concussion."

I sighed and slumped down further, "yeah yeah, whatever you say."

Tommy's POV

I rolled my eyes holding back a laugh at Cory's expression, with his singular camera lense he looked like a very annoyed cyclops. Sitting up straight I fixed my mask tightly to my face, my boredom creeping back quickly. Glancing at Uni I smiled,
"Hey Uni, what's it like to have multiple people in your head?"

Uni looked at me, surprise pasted onto his face, relaxing a little he smiled,
"uhh... well... It's a little weird, but I don't really have any memories without them... it's kind of like trying to read a book when there's music with losts of complicated lyrics blaring in the background. Sometimes it's hard to concentrate and sometimes I can block them out.. Duni on the other hand... he's harder to ignore... kind of like seeing a ghost..."

I hummed, pretending to understand anything he just said,
"Huh... that's kinda cool... do any of them tell jokes? I tell jokes-"
"Tommy, don't you dare-" Cory glared at me as I smiled,

"Okay, so... Two men walked into a bar, you would have thought at least one of them would have seen it-" the sound of Cory smacking me echoed around the empty hallway.

Ashley's POV

"Just stay still-" I went to grab the boys arm as he squirmed away, fear evident in his oddly coloured eyes, a soft lilac with red specks. Ever since he had woken up he had been avoiding us avidly. "I won't hurt you"
He gave me a look full of doubt and caution, "give me one good reason to trust you-" he cut himself off as he ducked away from another attempt at grabbing him, I sighed in frustration,
"Why shouldn't you trust us?"
"Let me think, you're crazy, you chased me for no reason-" he slipped under my arms again, his body acting at an unnatural speed, "-there's an awful lot of you, you're trying to pin me down, even though as we're proving right now, we can have a perfectly calm conversation without me being restrained, did I mention you're crazy?"

I sighed, turning to Nick who was watching with an amused grin, he shrugged before waving me over, "give it a rest, I'll try and calm him down, Dawn seems to have a plan if I can't control him."
I gave one last look at the green haired boy behind me, he seems to be glaring at a corner of the room, almost in a threatening way.

Nick's POV

Ashley pasted me as we swapped, her expression sour, at least we had a backup plan if I couldn't calm him down. He glanced at me, startled, almost as if he had forgotten I had existed. I smiled stiffly, he seemed relaxed enough, may this would be easier than I thought.
I was wrong. I swear he's part fish with how slippery it was,
"Why won't you stand still??"
"Why won't you stop grabbing at me. No offence, but if you were randomly chased down a hall by crazy strangers then wake up locked in a room with them, I think you would have the same reaction."
