Cory's POV

I helped Tommy up, keeping a cautious gaze on the two newcomers, the boy that had crashed into Tommy had blue hair and his circular glasses hung off his nose crookedly. He stood up and shakily dusted himself off, avoiding eye contact,
"Sorry, I didn't see you, I-I was chasing after my friend..."
I glanced around, only noticing the other boy who had been behind the first, he shrugged and smiled, resting a hand on the wall for support as he caught his breath,
"Sorry about that, I'm Dawn, my friend here is Uni, we didn't mean to bother you... we were just passing by"
Nick sighed, narrowing his eyes as he stepped forward, getting straight to the point,
"Yeah whatever, that doesn't matter, what did he mean about friend? It's just you two and us."

The boy, Uni, walked over to Dawn, laughing nervously, his face flushing with embarrassment and anxiety,
"Yeah... I Uhh... I can sort of see people that aren't there... well... one person... the others are just voices... that's why I'm here..." he pointed vaguely to the Asylum around us, we all understood,
"At least I think it is... I can't really remember anything before coming to Ashgrae..."

Tommy's POV

I pushed past Cory, excitement pricking my heart,
"Really?! No way, I'm exactly the same... except I don't have voices... speaking of voices, you got any girls in that head of yours?"
I bit my tongue as Ashley slapped me on the back of my head, dragging me back by the collar of my shirt,
"Hey, give him space to breath, he's obviously scared."
Uni put his hands up in defence and shook his head quickly,
"No no, it's okay... ad yes... I do happen to hear a female voice... but her vocabulary is limited and I'm pretty sure she's Japanese-"
He suddenly froze, glancing to the side of him, as if looking at something, he turned back to us,
"You wouldn't happen to have seen anyone else around here would you? It's important..."

From behind me Ashley tilted her head,
"Why? Is there someone you know?"

Ashley's POV

Uni shook his head again,
"No... but... apparently they're important... and we need to find them... that's what my friend told me..."
I glanced around skepticly but nodded,
"Is your friend here now?"
He nodded, glancing back at Dawn,
"Yeah... he can't go more than ten steps away from me, but he said that he needed to speak with someone..."
"Well, I have nothing bettter to do, we'll be happy to help you look," I shot a glare back at Cory who was about to protest, quickly shutting him up. Gripping Nick's arm I turned and started walking,
"Let's go!"

Nick's POV

I tried to ignore Ashley's grip as she practically hugged my arm while we walked, instead focus on th conversation behind me.
Cory had been asking questions about the others, trying to 'know everyone more closely'. I'm pretty sure he was just evaluating everyone, I could tell that, just like me, he didn't trust anyone yet. I mean, it's kind of hard to trust someone who's crazy enough to end up in an asylum, especially under the unnatural circumstances we have found ourselves in. Ashley's grip tightend on my arm, she was close enough for me to feel her shiver with cold. Glancing down at her shorter frame I went against my better judgement and pulled her in closer, sharing my body warmth. It must have worked because I watched her face heat up, a small smile on her lips.

Uni's POV

I watched as Duni walked, his red eyes scanning the hallway in front of us. His red hair stood up almost like a cat as he turned,
"Hurry up, we don't have all day, I'm sure he's close."
I roled my eyes ignoring him, instead choosing to listen to Tommy's bad jokes. Dawn seemed to be laughing lightheartedly while Cory just watched.
Turning to me Cory let a small smile fall on his lips, albeit forced.
"So... does your 'friend have a name?"

I glanced at Duni again before nodding,
"Yeah, Duni..."
At this a real smile found it's way on Cory's face as he he'd back a laugh,
"I'm sorry, Duni? Did you seriously just ad D infront of your own name? Unoriginal much."
Duni who was also listening in sighed, glaring at me. I simply shrugged smiling. We continued walking for a few more minutes, but even through Tommy's jokes I heard it.
Duni sucked in a breath and glanced at me, the soft sound of a bell.
And then, we turned the corner.

Standing near the end of the hallway were two boys, one y'all, one short. One with messy green hair, one with long orange hair. Duni was att my side in an instant,
"THATS THEM!"

Jon's POV

I had been walking down a corridor, Don complaining about feeling uneasy, when we heard voices. I had stopped, watching in fear as a group of people rounded the bend, at the lead was a boy with brilliantly red hair and fiery eyes. I watched as he pointed in our direction and spoke with venom. "THATS THEM!"

I stood there in shock and confusion, Don grabbing my hand and dragging me,
"Jon you idiot, Run!"
And we were off, back down the hall we had just come footsteps approaching from behind, all I knew what that I was probably being chased by some crazy psychopaths, I felt my legs pumping as Don kept pace easily glancing back every now and then.
"They're catching up!"
Fon, who was floating besides us sighed, resting a hand on my shoulder
"I've got this..."

Instantly I felt my body go numb. There was no longer a stitch in my side, the feeling of wind being whipped through my hair, and even the sounds of my breathing faded. I knew what was happening, it had happened before, as a ghost, Fon had teh ability to temporarily possess who he wants, taking full control of the body, leaving the host to watch through the eyes like they were watching a movie. Suddenly Fon rounded a corner, loosing his footing and slamming face first into a wall.
The shack was enough to throw me in charge, making me overly aware of the mouthful of blood and pain in my nose as I slumped to the ground, dazed.

Dawn's POV

We had lost sight of the boy we were chasing for a few seconds, for a moment I thought he may have gotten away, until we heard a thump. Turning the corner we saw the boy on the floor, his green hair covering his face as he held a hand to his nose and mouth, the slight dent in the wall making it evident of a crash. Everyone stopped when they saw him, wary about what he was going to do next. Using one hand he tried to stand up, blood quickly spilling from his cupped hand as he looked at us in caution, barley holding himself up, even with the help of the wall.

I watched as he gave us a quick, weak smile, and promptly feinted due to shock.
