I watched him get up and make his way across the room to two girls talking at a table.

I stood up from my chair. It's about time that I put those lessons from that American succubus Lilith to good use. I hid myself behind a wall near the table Haru was sitting at and simply listened to their conversation. It sounded like Haru just got started.
"Haha, so what's your name?" Haru asked one of the girls.
"(Y-Y/N)... (Y/N) (L/N)..." She stuttered. "I-If you came over here to make fun of me--"
"No, no, no. I would never. I actually had seen you earlier and thought you were quite cute yourself. If it weren't for your friend here..." He pointed at the girl sitting beside the blushing (Y/N). "...Akane, was it? If it hadn't been for her, I probably wouldn't have worked up the courage to walk over here." He faked being shy by averting his gaze down to the table, fidgeting with a napkin. I rolled my eyes.
How was I going to approach this...? There was no opening for me!
As Haru and his new target were chatting awkwardly, Akane shifted in her seat, whispering something in her friend's ear, making her turn bright red. She then got up from the table and walked away.
There it is. My chance to ruin it all.
I stepped towards the girl as she walked by, stopping her.
"Hey, um, Akane, right?"
"Yeah? You need something?"
I 'nervously' glanced at the table where Haru was sitting and flirting. "I have to tell you something about Haru..."
