Maya's POV

The very next morning Ammar took me alone to my favourite hotel for breakfast. I knew that he was still thinking that I was pressurised, I had already tried to convince him but he wasn't on the same page as me. He ordered my favourite Nutella dripping pancakes. He was truly best brother anyone could have.

"Princess, are you sure about this marriage? Okay okay I know you want our happiness but listen to me carefully, it's not about our happiness it's about you and your happiness. Are you getting my point princess?" He said with a concern laced in each word. I quietly nodded and gave him a look of assurance.

"Still, are you happy?" He said and somehow reminded me of last night incident. I again nodded.

"Princess, if he will hurt you, you have to tell us. Are you listening to me? You will not keep quiet just because of family reputation and whatsoever." He said in stern voice. I again nodded and he sighed.

I was afraid that if he would hurt me then I highly doubt that I would survive this time. I was already broken how could he broke me more into pieces? I was already shattered in too much small pieces. My soul was not in acceptance of this whole new marriage scene but this was the only thing I could do to give happiness to people around me.

Then after eating delicious breakfast we went home and got a good scolding for eating from outside which Ammar handled professionally.

Days passed and time swift like a sand from hand. Then a day came which I was dreading but at same time I was ready to face it. My all emotions were mixed up. In morning Maa made me go to parlour even though I didn't want to go but I couldn't let my mother upset on this day because of me. After getting ready, Ammar picked me and hamail from parlour and Allah! my house was a great mess. There was hustle and bustle in whole house. Maa and baba were shouting and then Ammar also joined them. I was praying to Allah that whole this, what my family was doing should be fruitful for them. I never wanted them to dry hurt again because of me.

After a great hustle and bustle, my house was actually looking a house for wedding. His family came, I was inside, khala and Izzah came to meet me and complimented me even though I was not pretty but it might be the power of makeup. All men went with him to mosque nearby but baba stayed to get my consent.

This time, when I said those three words, accepting him as my husband my heart was in my neck. I was praying for every minute I would be with him. Then baba went to mosque. My breath hitched when Izzah's phone rang. Then I could see a joy of happiness on her face and could heard her Mubarak to everyone. I released a breathe I never knew I was holding.

They came home and then hamail and Izzah made me ready again for him. They went outside and I could heard them teasing him. He opened the door and I lowered my eyes quickly. He came inside and closed the door behind. My heart was pounding against my chest. My breath hitched when he put his right hand on my head and recited the dua that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) told to recite when a man see his wife for first time after nikkah.

After reciting dua , he sat beside me on couch. He was looking at me deeply making me shiver under his stare. I was scared that he might, leave it. I was shivering badly. He took a hold of my shivering hands.

"Are you okay?" He asked in concerned voice. I quietly nodded. My shivering somehow stopped.

"You are looking beautiful." He said and it reminded of Zain's words, he spoked the same words. I swift off these thoughts in disgust.

"Can we offer two rakat's of nafl for us together?" He asked me. I smiled and nodded. It was beautiful thing and I also wanted to do it but I was scared to ask.
