What happens now? (Draco's pov)

As Harry said, the next day we were on our way to Dumbledore, I was scared but Harry held my hand and he knocked on the door, seconds felt like minutes. I was shaking and almost turned around but I knew I needed to tell someone, I needed to keep myself safe, Harry did the most of the talking but as it was about my father and my childhood I had to tell about the times I got beaten, the times he would yell at me for nothing, the letter, the curses he used on me, I told him everything, I told him about my scars, about me not eating to be the perfect son, how I didn't want to hurt anyone but I had to because I wasn't ready to die until I realized that this was gonna be life forever if I didn't do something and I did because I didn't care if I would be dead and when everything was told, I was crying and Dumbledore looked me straight in the eyes and told me that he would make sure my father would never, ever, touch me again or even see me again and went to leave, probably to the ministry and for once, I was hopeful.

One week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks passed, I kept getting post by my father and he was angry because I told someone, I told someone who could make him go to Azkaban but one day I didn't get a letter, not the day after and not even on the third day and I was confused, Harry was confused, god even Ron and Hermione was. I told them everything as well and thankfully, they was there for me and helped me. Later on the day Dumbledore called me to the office, ofcourse I took Harry with me, I couldn't be alone, not now and not when I was about to know what was going on with my father.

D- So Draco, and Harry of course, I'm sorry this took time, the ministry had a lot to do with this case as this usually never happen and they didn't really know what to do.

M-So? what did they do? what is gonna happen?

D- Well, turns out, he did abuse your mother as well, she didn't know about you and thought if she didn't tell anyone she thought you might be safe, she cried when we told her what was going on

H- Im sorry Dumbledore but what exactly did you tell her?

D- I told her everything Draco told me

H- so she knows about the letter? I mean the first letter, where Malfoy wrote about me and Draco dating, does she know that sir?

D- Yes, I know you would prefer to tell her be yourself but she needed to read the letter

M- I understand and its okay but do you know how she did react and what happened to my father?

D- Oh, your father was sent to Azkaban, we found him in many crimes and not just what you told me, he is gonna be there until the day he dies and as for your mother Draco, she is happy for you and is just happy you are alive and you can gladly go home for the breaks, your mother can't wait to meet you again.
