Okay so first chapter, nice. It's a bit short and I dunno if I lOVE it but y'know hope it's not shit?

"Lance you and Keith are going to go down into the ship and get this data of information. Pidge will be up in the castle directing you. Call if you need any back up and Shiro and Hunk will come down as soon as possible. They are going to wait in their lions while you are down there just in case so they can get out as fast as possible." Allura informed all of the Paladins.

"Good luck Paladins. Keith, Lance keep your heads in the mission we can't have this failing"

"Of course Princess, Mullet you heard the Princess. Lets go" Lance said, Keith groaned and rolled his eyes before following the Blue Paladin.

Lance and Keith exited Red (so they could have a quick getaway) they started walking down the suspiciously quiet hallways. Always calm before the storm.

"Lance you stay behind and guard the hallway outside where Keith is retrieving the information" Allura commanded. "Will do Princess" Lance replied, "Go on Mullet I'll protect you" Lance teased with a shit eating grin. Keith just flipped him off earning a dramatic gasp from the Blue Paladin before he walked into the room.

Lance rolled his shoulders before focusing in on attacking the enemy.

But sooon he got slightly bored, "Almost done in their Mullet" He asked, "Almost 8% left to go" Keith said back, annoyance lacing his voice already.

Suddenly the door closed locking Lance out and Keith in.

"What the fu-" Lance started but then he heard something behind him and was facing what looked to be 30 or 40 soldiers. And it looked to be 3 or 4 Galra commanders.

Great.

"Pidge I've been locked in and Lance is stuck fighting I don't know how many galra! I've got the data now, anyway I can get out and to Lance!?" He asked Pidge. "Just a secooooond" Pidge said "Got it follow this map it should get you there in a couple doboshes!" Pidge said. "Do you see that vent, get through that and you can get out into a hallway then take a right, down the end of the hallway take another right, run to the end of that hallway, take a left and then you'll be there" Pidge said. Keith was already out of the vents and running, right, right, left. He remembered the sequence, but then Pidge started glitching out, so did the map, so he focused hard and ran faster to where Lance was.

He sprinted around a corner- a dumb move on his part- and then he saw Lance barely standing surrounded but a few sentries and 2 commanders.

When the doors closed Lance freaked out thinking Keith was in danger, but when he turned around he realised he was probably the one in danger. He started shooting like a maniac, hitting his targets perfectly as they started advancing on him. He head Keith yelling into the com, asking Pidge how to get to him. He blocked out their conversation before he got himself killed. Like typical Lance...

"Oof!"

Lance lost his breath as he received an uppercut to the gut, FOCUS MCLAIN he yelled at himself. Suddenly his bayard changed into the Altean sword, he tried not to let his surprise slow him especially with this advantage.
