Two years after the bloody battle against Kibutsuji Muzan. The outcome of the battle is known to only the survivors of the Demon Slayers Corp.
Win... or lose? Demons continue to exist and wander around the world, living under the facade of a human being. Muzan... is surely not the only original demon. Japan, is not the only country with demons. After hundreds of years, the branches of demon had spread. Researches were done on many. And many unknown organizations hidden from the public eyes also exist. Just like Demon Slayer Corp that is not recognized by the government, there are organizations formed by mad doctors or demons.
However, there is one undeniable fact... Demon Slayer Corp successfully eliminated the Upper Moons, rescue thousands possible of lives that could be lost.
But in return... there is also another undeniable fact.
Loss. A lot of it...
The beloved Pillars admired by many, sacrificed their lives that day. Their master, Ubuyashiki Kagaya had also sacrificed himself along with his wife and two elder daughters. Demon Slayer Corps won that day, but they have also lost that day.
The grieves stay with the survivors, they carry on their lives with heavy weight of the ones that had fallen. Smiling and crying as they live on, to continue this long battle until no demon is left in this world... for the ones that are living with them and the ones that have left...
