The sun ray radiates over a field of crops, bathing the greenery field with its warmth. The soft sound of river flowing down nearby is like an endless melody. The birds sing along, soft breeze past by the field, carrying with it a fresh fragrance from the morning rain.
"Ugh..."
A soft groan escapes a young woman's lips. Her eyes slowly and weakly open to meet with the bright clear sky. But her eyes tightly closed again when her sense returned to her. An immense headaches hit her head, like hammer banging against her head again and again.
"What happened?..." Y/N mutters soundlessly as she holds herself up with her weak arms.
The soaked dirt tainted her skin and clothes. The unfamiliar scene registered into her eyes.
"Where am I?..." She mutters again.
The wide field stretches as far as she can see. The sky that is free from skyscrapers and wires now look more closer to her reach. But she does not recognized this place, or even remember how she got here...
She recalls being on the JR line train, heading home after her evening class. The train was strangely empty despite the usual rush hours, only roughly 8 people were on the train. But she shrugs it off for she figures people must have gotten off the stations before. It was still very strange, but she was tired from the classes and her part time job to give it any thought. She remembers closing her eyes and dozing off every now and then... until the light in the train cart go out and the train suddenly makes a shrieking sound and stop abruptly. Her body jolts along with the force and she falls off the chair. Within the dark tunnel, she couldn't see anything now with the lack of light. Even her phone's screen does not lit up despite the countless taps on it.
People's voices can be heard around her though. People that are like her, frightened and shocked at what happened. The high technology train of Japan rarely ever experienced any of this before. She called out to other people around her, taking steps and her hands reaching out, hoping to reach any person in the cart, any.
But the train suddenly moves again at a quick speed, and she once again stumbled onto the floor. Her head hits against the chair... and that is the last thing she remembers.
"What is this?" Y/N mumbles after recalling the event.
She weakly stood up, patting her head slightly because of the immense headache. She wonders if she had got on a wrong train... or if someone had captured her and moved her to the countryside? But then why did they just dropped her here in the field? She sure does not have any injuries or wounds on her. Did they just decide to cast her away because she does not meet the standards?
Nevertheless, she is glad to be alive. Her phone is not on her, but her bag she carries is still on her shoulders.
"Hello? Is anyone around here?" Weakly striding across the field, the young woman pokes her head into the window of a traditional house.
Despite it being in the countryside, the house still looks especially traditional compared to the ones she sees. It looks simple and... very easy to break into.
No one answers her, and no one is around. She grabs for several bills in her bag and reaches inside the window to place it on the table. She takes a straw hat and a worn out traditional kimono rain coat to put her over her. It's rude to just take without asking, it's just like stealing... but she does not know where she is in Japan at the moment when the possibilities of her kidnappers are still nearby. It's rude and unethical, but she is more scared for her life at the moment. At least she had put down the money that is more than enough to buy two set of this, she will come back to apologize after.
