Yusei's pov
It's now been five years since we all went our separate ways. Crow is now head of Sector Security in New Domino. Akiza is now a doctor at the local hospital. Leo and Luna are both now seniors in high school. Jack is still Jack though it's hard to expect him to change.
As I was tidying up the house, I heard my phone ring, so I walked over to answer it. I was soon greeted by a familar voice.
"Yusei! You've got to check out the news!" Crow said from the other side of the phone
"Crow? What's wrong? You sound like your panicking"
"That's because I am panicking! Turn on the damn news!"
Seeing that he was so insistent on me watching the news, I turned my tv on and changed it to the news while putting Crow on speaker.
Whenever I saw the news, I dropped the phone out of pure shock. At the bottom part of the screen read "Five small towns near New Domino, all completely destroyed within minutes of each other"
"What happened? How could five towns be decimated within minutes?"
"Can't be coincidence. This was planned and carried out. Ow! What the fu-! ...No way..."
I was confused by that last part until I felt a burning sensation on my arm. I looked over and my eyes widened as I saw my signer mark had returned. I thought it was gone after the last battle.
"We need to call the others" I said to Crow who said he agreed and got off to call the others
I decided it was best to call them as well. Whatever did this needs to be stopped, though if the Crimson Dragon is calling out to us again, this most likely won't be easy.
Somewhere outside of New Domino
YN's povI was leaning against my duel runner with a satisfied smile as we successfully did what we had set out to do.
"I still say we should have taken this destruction directly into New Domino!"
I looked up and saw the Red Eyes user of our team
"Patience Akano. A battle is like a game of chess. In order to position oneself, one must first go through the pawns" I explained, making her huff in annoyance
"How do you know they'll see our message? The signers probably all have jobs now" Akano said to which I chuckled
"Exactly. And it just so happens one of the signers got a job with Sector Security. Our message has been received now we just need to wait and see how they respond to it"
Akano nodded her head in understanding and walked away to go edit her deck or do whatever it is she does in her room. However I heard her come back
"Wait. How did you know that one of them was with Sector Security?" she asked, raising a brow at me
"I have my sources. There's nothing to worry about" I said before heading towards my room, ruffling her hair as I walked by.
"If you say so" she said with a small giggle.
Once in my room, I flopped down on my bed and smirked to myself as I looked up at the ceiling
"We have declared war on you, Signers. How will you respond?"
